Leave my motor alone, when I get out of HM pleasure I will be back for it.
Ok, only joking, but have you considered it may belong to someone doing time. Sure you want to be dealing with them?0 -
Any odd smells coming from it. Has the boot been checked for the owner.0

couple of years ago when this country was on a terrorist alert the old bill had us breaking into every untaxed abandoned car looking for bombs0

Perhaps someone with financial problems is trying to hide assets??
I was aware of a Range Rover Sport that had been left in a residential street that was owned by someone about 60 miles away, the back was full of "property" covered by blankets. It was found that their business had problems and was hiding stuff from the bailiffs. However it was taxed and insured unlike this case, its still there now about 4 months later!0 -
Yes, but no!!!!
Very grey area in the law, and i had to give one back!!!
Big risk, lots of outlay, and possibly no return
(but still possible)0 -
i'm not suggesting this, but ...
take it onto your farm (under cover of darkness), keep it out of the way while you make all your enquiries, and if there's still nothing ... erm ....
good luck
pm me if you'd like to know what i had to go through0 -
Taking a motor vehicle or conveyance without consent
A person shall be guilty of an offence if,
without having the consent of the owner or other lawful authority, he takes any conveyance
for his own or another’s use or, knowing that any conveyance has been taken without such
authority, drives it or allows himself to be carried in or on it.0 -
Not TWOC if harvey tows it or pushes it though, once the other reasonable lines of enquiries are exhausted then theft is also negated.
Back the OP, I'm very surprised that the dvla or local Police still aren't interested now the car's not insured or taxed. DVLA run a sceme called viper that makes it very easy to lift untaxed cars.0 -

Correct however will be as soon as drives it or carried out it, whats the point of a car that can never drive? Plus always the offence of vehicle interference??0
