I work for o2 and one of the departments I work in is upgrades, the system stopped it because you can't upgrade when you have an outstanding balance.Work like you don't need money,Love like you've never been hurt,And dance like no one's watchingSave the cheerleader, save the world!0

Hey people it is ok! I have just discovered that Tesco's deal on a contract is basically the same on PAYG! Only difference is you don't get a free phone (NM mine is alright if a bit tatty).
Contract is - £30 per month, unlimited text, calls and internet. (Upto £500 'fair usage', which makes me question the "unlimited" aspect lol)
PAYG- £30 top up per month and you get unlimited text, calls and internet (again up to £500)
So plan is apply for the contract and if unsucessful get the PAYG
HOWEVER....if I apply for the contract and am turned down will I then be unsucessful for the PAYG?
I'm a little bit annoyed that I have been sooooo impressed with O2 for YEARS and they have well and truly messed up over the last few weeks. Nevermind they are only a company not a friend afterall...
I like the random change of direct on this post lol made me smile

you can't get turned down for a PAYG
just buy the phone go home register it on line then buy credit or you wont get the free credit in the first month

Yup I know, someone told me that the third time I rang them, but then because I was told on the previous two occasions I could they were able to 'over ride' it apparently. But then have gone back on their word. I'm very disappointed that O2 customer service has gotten so terrible recently and the 'new software' they have had installed means I have had to ring them on and off over various issues and spend literally a couple of hours on the phone to them, luckily the calls aren't charged for

Agreed though....even if they turn you down for contract you'd still be able to PAYG (no credit check for that)We all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0 -
