Tenmah, don't suppose you can use them on high heels?!
Buffy, it's not 'lazyness', most people can't be bothered with stuff in winter, that's why there's a need for spring cleaning! Everyone has less energy at this time of year, you're just prioritising what you've got.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -
OK, going back to earlier, can I please come and live in the DFW nuthouse...I'd still be the most mental one there.
And on the tablet/side effect front....I either sleep lots or don't sleep. And have nightmares every night (but that was there before) and wake up at least three times a night. And eat more than you could think possible (was shaking as I didn't have an afternoon snack yesterday- low sugar thing is new actually) And my mind races, constantly. And I have no short term memory, so I have to write things down before I forget. And I fall asleep in weird places (lecture theatres aren't exactly comfortable) And I forget words ,and why I went into a room. And at the moment, I take 9 tablets a day (used to be 15) And I'm overweight cos of the pills, but if I don't take them I'll be very VERY bad, but if I take them I'll hate myself even more.** Total debt: £6950.82 ± May NSDs 1/10 **** Fat Bum Shrinking: -7/56lbs **

Hello again
...Linda xxIt's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -

Buffy - hugs and hope you feel better soon. If it is worse at this time of year have you considered whether you could have SAD? My MIL sits infront of a light box in the mornings for brekkie and it really helps her. Otherwise she is even more scarey

We have a light alarm clock (brightens and brightens for 20 mins) which avon sell cheap (around £12). My OH is useless for nearly all alarms, but the light clock wakes him much better - maybe even light to wake up would help some people?
Just a thought.
Can't wait to be asleep tonight - and am so grateful booked tomorrow and christmas eve off so I don't have to drive 20 miles in the crazy icy snowy roads around here
I feel like a zombie and my OH said I staggered upstairs like a drunk. My mind was racing when I got in from my 10hr journey home last night. I can't imagine how much worse it would have been if I had not stopped for a meal during that time. Some people took 8hrs to drive accross town - if I had been in town I would have just walked home - I kept saying, I just need to get 15 miles then I can walk the last 5.
I'm such a zombie that I tried to dial into a telephone meeting, right day of the week, right time...only the appt was sent out today for 5 Jan! Embarassing as I sent an email asking what was going on! Clearly it was therefore a necessity for me to only do essential tasks and then surf MSE/enter some comps online etc
