I would just put an IOU in wrapping paper.

Perhaps print off a picture of the band or their album cover and put it in a huge box saying 'sorry stuck in the snow, will be with you soon' or thereabouts!

CD-WOW do deliver eventually but if you're on a timescale (i.e a gift for xmas) best to be on the safe side and purchase at a shop.

I too have been waiting for an item stated despatched some time ago. I paid through paypal and raised a issue via paypal. CD Wow have responded and stated that the item is considered in transit and they will not do anything about it yet!!!!

Totally fed up with them as I had emailed them several times with no reply. I shall await and see if I can get a refund from paypal.

I ordered something on 9th Dec, it said it was despatched on 10th Dec....... yet still nothing has arrived!!!!! It said on the website that it is "in stock - usually despatches within 24 hours" whats going on????

Mine has just turned up. That was the one posted on the 6th. The other one I haven't a clue when it will come.

They took my order and money then told me it was out of stock, so goodness knows when that was despatched.

Have had some damage limitation emails from them today, I think they have just realised who furious we all are!

I ordered 2 items on 7th Dec - 1 despatched on 9th Dec only arrived a few days ago. The other was despatched on 15th Dec so going by timescales, I expect it will come but not as quickly as I would like. They did however e-mail to say that the despatch was delayed in the first place.

OH not going to be happy with a PS3 on Xmas Day but nothing to play on it! Oh well, he can help wth dinner instead he he.

yeah our was despatched on 11th Dec and still not here.

Furious as a school exam was sent on 17th dec , 1st class and arrived at my house on the 18th.

I just received a standard email today, still no reply to my complaint. Wonder if they know how many are a bit annoyed about the service .

I am also waiting on things I've ordered. Emailed them a couple of days ago and got a standard email reply :

And then it went on to say how to return them - so at least when they eventually turn up I can get my money back if I've had to go and buy them again from a shop. Is there post tomorrow? I suppose there is a small chance they'll arrive if there is.

Yes there should be post tomorrow(christmas Eve) none Friday (Christmas Day) None boxing day and post on Tuesday I had ordered Robbie Williams new album Reality killed a video Star when it was released,it hadnt arrived,got worried,mailed cdwow and then few days after contacting cdwow it finally came in the post.I then mailed cdwow to say it had arrived.

Talk about by the skin of your teeth ... my ordered item arrived this morning just as I was off out the house to buy a replacement from Mr Ts!!!

Forgot to say, my item also came via Switzerland ... so I presume this contributed to the delay
