I've just reserved one at my local store so stock is still available if you're lucky. Will be great in the car, otherwise it's a cheap backup device.
    Can I help?

Has anyone tried voice recording and been successful in playing it back on their PC. Would be interested in knowing if I can use it for dictation purposes and then tfr recordings to MP3. Thanks.

You can take out the hard drive in this player very easily, just remove 4 small screws using a standard screwdriver and remove the ribbon cable (Be careful here)

The hard drive is quite decent, a Seagate 40gb 2.5" laptop hard drive. Once connected to a computer, it can be formatted and used as a hard drive for your laptop etc :)

Not sure if you can put a smaller hard drive in the MP3 player and get it working

where can i get the firmware for this mp3, i bought one yesterday and its now charged but i guess it'd be handy to have the firmware before loading up my tunes, incase it wont put them in order.
    any pointers

I have a problem with my equaliser settings. When I select one it goes back to default after the player is switched off. Does this happen to everybody else??
