    Hello all :j
I'm so late today and so much to catch up on I've forgot who said what............lol:rotfl:

elysia - I remember it was you giving the countdown.............stop it !! :eek:I'm in panic mode as it is and keep thinking of other stuff I need to sort out.......mind you, most of it I'm creating for myself..........2 more kitchen organisers to do and not started them yet (OH forgot to get pva glue:() but they're not actually ''needed''. Have finished off my brownie mix jars with little labels then had soc.worker meeting lunchtime.........by the time that was done our lad was back !

mum2one - the brown mix was on one of the craft threads (I think).........anyway its
4 crushed weetabix, 4oz castor sugar, 4 oz self raising flour, 2tbsp cocoa or drinking chocolate, 100mg chocolate drops.

Put them in a jar in layers (brn/white/brn/'white) then attach label to the jar with instructions:
Add: Mix ingredients together and add
4oz melted butter. 1 egg -stir well
Line 8'' baking tin, place mixture in tin
and bake for 15mins at gas mark 4, 180

Clare - Does you mum keep a gardening journal ? I know we do and its a handy reference for where and when stuffs planted, what the weather was like (handy for comparing the previous year)
Or how about magazine subscription ?
    Sorry, minds gone blank now.............

Hope everyones ok and for those who need them big hugs (((((:o)))))))))))
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

  • Foxy - that sounds like an amazing time! I think I was absent for the previous posts about it, did you win a competition? Thanks for the recipe, it's one I will definitely have to try out, especially as it comes so highly recommended!

Clare - could you get your mum some sort of outdoor plant? My parents are keen gardeners and one of my mum's favourite presents has been a lime tree (although that has to stay in the conservatory). Now she never runs out of lime to have with her gin :D

I'm super excited today for 2 reasons. I can't wait for the Santa's challenge, even though it sounds like it could be quite a biggie . Also, we've been told at school that we can decorate our classroom whenever we like now. Usually we have to wait until December, but our Christmas fair is early this year so I'm going to put my little tree up tomorrow, yeay!!!!!

    Evening everyone

I have finished number 2 shirt now. Have the day to myself tomorrow so will get the other two cut out and started on.

Went in Wikinson's with my £6 Love2shop vouchers and looked at the aftershave but couldn't see what I wanted, they had some but quite small bottles. Instead I got some bits for youngest daughter, things like facial wipes, hair spray etc. Got quite a bag full for my vouchers and didn't have to put a penny towards it. Then later on I was thinking of how to give them to her to make it more interesting as it will just be me and her Christmas day and thought that I might make it into a kind of treasure hunt. I know she is 15 but I think she would enjoy this. I will make up some clues and put them all in a box and wrap it up and give it to her, the little bits and pieces I have got her I will wrap up before hand and hide the day before (she is bound to go out sometime or another Christmas Eve). Rufus xx

Glad your ok mum2one I would have been so scared, bet your proud of miss hoodie ,we had parents eve couple of weeks ago think they got the wrong kids so different at home all they do is fight and argue that's only the 2 little ones so got a long way to go aarrrgghh lol.eldest one is into computer and music so he spends most of his time in his bedroom or at his mates.
Looking forward to a double challenge this month, I have been a bit bored with everything done.
I think im going to start card making I need a hobbie would like to learn to sew too its amazing what people make.
Well the snow has started I would love it if it was half term when I dont have to drive.
I cant decide when to do my first load of food shopping for tins, frozen, booze things that will keep etc . Going on23rd for all fresh bits.that will be the last time I move my car. It's so hard to park where I live as I live down a snicket so have to park at top and everyone has a car. So its a battle to get parked.
Really hope my secret Santa is going to like present Im starting to worry.

    It's snowing:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

At least I got the bairns party shoes finally today so no more long shopping trips in the snow, I can just get home every day and snuggle up in the warmth:), the shoes were a 5pound bargain from primark, I won a silvery top on ebay last night for 2quid so I will probs wear that at christmas. Just need to get hubby something now, but he can order that online and son is sorted.
Hubby started cleaning out cupboards in the kitchen tonight so i'm finally getting somewhere with the house now!
Can't wait for the challenge tonight.....................................................

    evening everyone,

mumtoone-hope you are feeling much better, take care and look after yourself. Both my dd and ds have allergies and they may sound daft but can be serious. mine are severely allergic to dust mite, grass, trees, dogs and my ds several different animals of all things...one of his friends has various caged pets and after a few hours there he was the same as you-paramedics rushing him to a & e unable to breath.as to be real careful now and carry anti histamine and take at the slightest symptom. Hope the tests show what it is then you can avoid it and not have to worry so much.

foxy- im sooooooo jealous of your trip, sounds fab

well completed all but the gift wrapping and card writing this month and now eagerly awaiting the new challenge.

gosh the countdown doesnt seem very long now...........need to get more done.

scatty- think the supermarkets are two to three weeks before christmas for internet orders but you have to be real quick they disapear as if by magic.

day off tomorrow to get all the last minute bits and a couple of extra gifts. will feel good tomorow evening is all done. will be having lunch out with my friend too.....thats if the snow doesnt set in over night aparently we are in the ZONE!!!
    take care everyone
