Evening all!
Had a busy day at work then decided it would be a brilliant idea to go into town! My feet are killing me but I managed to get a few pressies for Christmas.
I got myself and my sister PJ's from La Senza - 2 for £20 and they are really lovely ones - all wrapped in tissue with scented beads! Very nice! Thats for the xmas eve hamper.
I got A Christmas Carol also for her hamper - £12.99 -seems to be the same price everywhere.
Got the gingerbread house bubble bath bar from Lush - one for my DS and one for my sister! They gave me a free bath bomb so I am off for a nice hot bath shortly
I also got the Lego Walkie Talkies that my DS has been after and whilst in Argos he saw a Vtech Media Desktop Computer half price down from £75 to £37.50. Have reserved one and will collect tomorrow then that's him done!
Very pleased with how my list is looking - it's very satisfying to turn things from 'red' to 'green'!!!!
Forgot - I managed to get National Lampoons Christmas Vacation for £3 in HMV - bargain!!!Gifts of time and love are surely the basic ingredients of a truly merry Christmas."

Hi all
Mary, I only just noticed about the new forum title after you mentioned it. Seems strange as it's not all about Christmas but all occaions.
Mum2One, I felt a bit queasy after reading your post where you mention two words together 'soup and poop'
MummyLB, glad you liked that idea. It seemed the easiest as you mentioned there are 3 children in the family. I know all about special needs, one of mine can never be left alone and he's over 20, so your neighbour will be worth her weight in gold if she's helpful to you.0 -

I had my lunch out at dinnertime, my friend treated me to lunch, absolutely stuffed, even refused pudding.... that is not like me.
Called via Boots on way home - our local store was spend over £50 get £12 of points, so toddled and got few bits for Miss Hoodie off Santa - all posh make up, and a phone top up. Then went round again, got the teabag set - 3 tins in one and box of chocs, - ready for friend and her hubby, then a few bits for me- another £12 of points. Now have £80 on the card. Come in brilliant for 75% sale.... unless get raided for Miss hoodie (usually happens).
Give you all a laugh, had my car insurance renewal 2day, £277, guess not bad but only paid £202 last yr, spent this evening shopping around.... the one company so funny - compare sites the dearest quote £1349.43... then another comparison site...... this had to be the best - mum nearly had an accident by laughing so much£9386.39Getting spolit again on Saturday, my best friend, taking me and Miss Hoodie out for lunch - her treat, we try and go every 4 to 6 weeks, 2 treats this week. Getting spolit. My cello, ribbon and tissue came this morning, so hopefully can get some xmas stuff sorted.... dreading emptying the shed....xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
