Or just fill with big sweets that are in wrappers, you can get some nice ones like for the pots of gold and then tie them with some gold curly ribbon

Or make sweetie cones with Pic and Mix from 99p shop? Also thought I would mention for anyone doing Christmas Eve Hampers that in Ethel Austin I bought a little set that had a card for santa, a Santa stop here window sticker (you know with those suckers on) and a santa stop here door hanger! It was £1.50 and they had 20% event going on so £1.30! Thought it would be good for people who dont have a garden to put a sign in!
Also Toffeeapple you could fill them with popcorn for movie hamper or christmas eve hamper? Thats if you are doing any?

Im so sorry your not happy about whats been said but i have to ask if there your own phots why have you taken them all off here and changed the wording on some of your post's.

Also why would the seller on ebay say you dont supply her.

Im sure this will all kick off on here now but i just had to ask

If anyone's looking for an unusual experience-type gift in Scotland this looks very good. If you're not a Groupon member and would like a referral I can PM you one if you want.

Edit: valid today only, it's a 90 minute diving lesson for 2 people for £15 instead of £50 at the PADI centre in Glasgow.

Blimey - 7 pages to catch up on!! lol WARNING, LONG POST!! lol

Elysia - thanks re: Amazon vouchers. Hope you had a lovely time in Wales! We're about 35 minute drive 'upwards' from Cardiff! lol My brither lives in Cardiff at the moment though! Thanks for the vista print link!! :D

Welcome back Kiwi & junior_j! Welcome back too Ddraig! Congrats on your little man!!

junior_j - what about vouchers for a gift experience - pamper day in a spa, chocolate making session, that type of thing. Buyagift I think is one of the places....

    Mary - what's a weather wally?? lol

cookiecrumbs - I keep looking in Poundland for felt, but they never have any!!

toffeeapple - think I missed your doggie make! But I'm sure it was lovely! Blimey, bit of drama regarding the pictures & ebay..... I didn't see your pics so couldn't comment, but don't you worry about it! :) There's more to life.

foxy - hope your ankle is feeling better! Ouchy.

mummyslittle boy - where did you get your santa key from? I was thinking that for next year (DD is only just 1 this year) that I'd find a large old fashioned key and decorate it myself in glitter.....

rufus - well done on your bargains this morning! :T

elysia - lovely idea for the advent calendar for your DD2's birthday! How are you planning on making it? (looking for ideas myself for advent calendar for DD for next year!) And do you have a link to Flourgirl's puddings? (Ooo errr missus.....just me then? lol sorry.)

Thanks mum2one and Miss Hoodie for the challenge! Come on ladies, who's up for the secret santa! PM mum2one!! lol

Massive thanks to those of you who made suggestions for my friend's daughter. Sugarspun, fedupandskint, mummyslittleboy, junior_j especially. I've passed on all the suggestions to her!

Tried to get DD to sit still with a whisk and bit of tinsel last Friday so I could take a picture ready for our Chrsitmas cards (we whisk you a merry christmas!), but would she sit still?? Lol normally she's fab with photos - poses for them and everything! lol

Sugarspun - that link didn't work unless you're logged in first I think....

Phew. lol Big wave to everyone else I haven't directly responded too!

  • Thank you. Great ideas for my larger cones everyone. Love them.

'Giggles' - I have indeed removed my photos, not only the dog ones but all the ones that I have done of other items I have ever made. Why should I put my photos on here to have them criticised? And to have people, including yourself, questioning if I made them!! The person who accused me of copyright, who I have never heard of before, or seen on here, has been reported and I have lodged a complaint with mse. The lady I supply on ebay (who is not a business, just a friend who ebays a lot) has never been contacted by anybody and has never replied to anybody. I really can't believe that there are people trying to be nasty on these kind of forums and it is only due to the lovely 'regular' people on here that have made me see sense and realise just how petty some people are....

Mum2one created a forum to help us all get ready for Christmas and to give people ideas of things to make as presents, making hampers and gifts for those special people in our lives.... can we please keep it that way?

Any further questions please pm me and stop ruining the board with accusations, I will HAPPILY answer anything you would like to ask......I have nothing to hide.
A small Thank You can make a BIG difference ;)

Anyways if nobody has senn this on the grabbit board there is a link to print a £5 voucher for Debenhams and there is no minimum spend! I have printed mine and may pop in later to see what I can get for free! Maybe some choccies for hampers or smellies!? Could come in handy! Here is the link for anyone thats interested!

Thanks Legendmum. I've been too busy catching up on the special occasions threads from last week to even look at Grabbit today.

Did you notice, it's £5 off .com and only 15% instore? I didn't want you to make a journey there, if it wouldn't be worth your while.

    HI all,

Just wanted to give an update on my friend who was having trouble buying for her daughter. Had two emails from her:

"Wow. Thanks Clare. I will definitely be having a look at all those suggestions especially the books. Some amazing suggestions thank you so much."

"Just bought Hartland the complete set. J is going to love them and I didn’t even know they existed. Thank you so much."

    So, thank you everyone!!
