    The I wants.......
This is a good idea :) My 2 oldest want an ipod. They asked for an ipod touch but I really don't think that I will be able to afford 2 of those so any info on any ipods and prices would be good as to be honest I have no clue about what they are other then they play music lol!

    "Don't forget"
Did this last year as got fed up of never knowing where anything was!

So, quite a bit to do, but looking forward to it :)

If they asked for an iPod touch I would just check with them why they wanted it. An iPod touch is very much like an iPhone but without the mobile bit of it. So you can go on the internet, download applications (games, novelty things like voicechangers, or picture changers etc) as well as hold and listen to music. An iPod would not have the ability to connect to the internet and browse it like an iPod touch does, so if that is why they wanted it then an iPod would not be suitable for them and you may be better buying something else.

I have got an iPhone so the last time I bought an actual iPod was quite a long time ago, I got an ipod nano about 3 years ago and that was off my bf as he got the iphone when it came out, and its still going strong. I like the iPod nano as its smaller and therefore better for when Im on the go. Although I know the models are different now to mine. So Im not much help in terms of best iPod model and price Im afraid :(.

    Hi Real toothfairy!

Mum2one - the vodka is so easy - got from a thread somewhere on here! Empty out a bottle of vodka, chop some strawberries up so they'll fit through the neck of the bottle. Roll strawbs in sugar and put in bottle, to fill to 1/3 of the bottle. Pour vodka back in (I have some left - not sure what to do with the little bit - maybe find a small bottle and make more!), put somewhere cool and dark. Shake every day for a week then store for 2-3 months. Yummy!!!

Ur an absolute star, got a recipe for raspberry vodka, but its weighing out then add extra sugar - for me it goes in and one job thats it!!
Single doctors - I know there are some - hoping to bag myself one!!! lol!!!! :):):)
Ok - re single docs, being as your the nurse, obvioulsy you should have 1st choice, but plz find me a spare one!!!

Toothfairy - Love the name, could imagine the fun and games you had with the toothfairy..... the white lies we tell...... hope the sewing goes on ok, xx

wow this post is a good one... I feel like after this month i wont have anything left to do but then i realise, wrapping, writing cards, delivering, all that is still to come isnt it...
I am deffinately getting cracking with this challenge though, lucky for me I am a student so no cooking or children for me to keep an eye on so reali i should have this challenge done in no time, no excuses for me. I am going to look for some wrapping paper in town tomorrow, so i need to get thinking about what kind of theme to go with, or should I just order some cellaphane for the hampers.
Maybe i should start by looking for wicker baskets, and if i cant find any, then wrapping paper will do. Then anything else I see I will pick up to. Trying not to spend to much time in town though as saturday's in town are crazyyyyy

    Hi Piglet
someone is busy, the santas present, bit like secret santa at workplace, but we don't swop prezzies or money.
You raise £10 - I set some questions for everyone, gauge likes dislikes etc, then pass ur answers to another lady, there then choose 3 single items at £10 each, (or one can be mix and match, say nice necklace + bracelet, both come to £10 )- your lady will send me the catalogue numbers (use Argos its easier), I send back to you, your then give the £10 you've made and the list of numbers to hubby, OH, or friend, they choose which one your having (and they very nicely wrap it) basically your buying urself an xmas prezzie, but we do so much throughout the year, and its a little treat. xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

susan42 your pots of snow are lovely.

Does anyone know where to get the red jelly lips quite cheaply? Think I might fill the small kilner jar with them for eldest daughter.

They have got the bags of lips and teeth in the co-op 3 bags for 99p.

I too would like to know this! I have bought today some plastic plant pots from wilkos 35p for 10! It says they are 8cm, I also bought some gold spray but now am wondering whether I am being a meanie by not getting actual tumblers or bowls???:o

I sprayed plastic pots for my Pots of Gold last year as I couldn't find anything else I liked. They looked great and everyone loved them so I would definitely recommend it :D
