    That's brilliant Jane!!!

It's amazing how quickly the savings mount up isn't it? :money:

Last Christmas I did lots of money saving (but no money making to pay for it all) but the Christmas before, if a lable said £100 that's what I paid, no shopping around, nothing!

The boxes everywhere are getting me down though. I can't wait for Mother's day and April just so I can rid rid of a few! :rotfl:
    I :heartpuls M.S.E.

    Hi all

Mum2One, I'm getting a Santa's Challenge withdrawals and been hoping you might put on something early :)

Mary, what are we going to do with you? LOL

Re getting money for reviews etc. In the paper the other week there was an article about a company that pays £25 to talk to your mates about certain products, but I can't remember the name of it. Did any of you read it?. I guess it's along the lines of Buzz or whatever it is. My son was a member last year and we had lots of free yoghurts.

Valentines Day - Made kids cards and truffles.

Half term - got the kids some cheap kits to keep them amused (from wilkinsons) also made some cakes and made some pizza's. Bought the new wii game - just dance (got it for £7 on a grabbit) played that for hours.

Fridge/freezers. Freezers done, still got the fridge but still have a few days to go so will do it soon.

Christmas/birthday planning. Bought a few more birthday presents for DD1. Emu boots on a grabbit only £27.00 and some books.

Spare presents - Unfortunately, DD2 has been invited to so many parties, that we have used up all the gifts I bought in Boots sale (well, we have one left but received another invitation this morning ) On the lookout for more gifts. Have loads of spare presents not allocated for adults (went a bit mad in Boots sale)

Treat for me - haven't done that one yet

Saturday before last we had a pyjama day too - and sat watching DVDs to that'll count.

I think that's the lot. :D. Just the fridge and a treat for me to do then.
    I :heartpuls M.S.E.

LOL I know what you mean - boxes everywhere in my bedroom - would love to stash stuff in the attic, but things seem to get damp up there - most things are on top of my wardrobe at the moment - not really good for promoting sleep :rotfl:

    Valentines day
Made DH and the kids a heart card each - kids helped to make heart biscuits for DH & DS even helped to ice them with pink icing.

    Half-term - Parents
This is the bit where we get the children involved... (those without don’t children – ur bit will follow).
Did kids rooms a bit ago and put items on Ebay for Jan challenge - I'm sure there's more that can go, but finding it hard to get the time at the moment.

My bedroom - Got rid of some rubbish out of my room, magazines recycled and old paperwork shredded.

    The Rubber Gloves
Did a quick job of the freezer by getting rid of old stuff past the sell-by dates and stuff nobody likes  - need to defrost properly at some point as just scraped some ice off for now.

    The Fridge-
Got rid of some science experiments that were in there and gave it a good clean.

    Xmas Planning
I have a list of what I've got and for who, so I know who I still need to get for.

    Spare Presents – ADULTS BIRTHDAYS
Haven't got any adult ones, but know who I have to get for so don't really get any surprise ones.

    Spare Presents – CHILDRENS BIRTHDAYS
Have a couple of the shoe jewellery boxes and some books ready to go.

    Parents – Half Term Treat!!
Took the kids to visit my dad and his partner in Staffordshire for a few days. We took the kids to the park - very MS! and the next day we went to Blackbrook Zoological park in the snow - it was lovely, and Dad paid for us all :T.

After all that hard work... time for a treat, fun challenge, 2 parts to the challenge
    Part 1....
Completely forgot this part of the challenge - may try this one tonight when DH is out!
    2nd Part of daft challenge
Again forgot - will try another time.

    Thanks mum2one - enjoyed these!

    Hello all :j
    Aren't you all so organised............sadly I'm not:(

Feb challenge I'm afraid went out the window...........apart from OH cleaning out fridges and freezers at the minute and thats really because we've for a couple staying (with 1 yr old ) from this weekend for a few weeks while they try and find somewhere to live.
My bedroom just might get sorted out then (I might need somewhere to hide :rotfl:)

Today I've covered a shoe box and two twiglets tubs with some red textured wallpaper I got from charity shop...........so thats being a bit organised for christmas........isn;t it ?? Oh, also printed out NEGirl's recipes for foster daughters recipe index box I'm doing for her for Christmas. Just need to find some pretty paper to cover it with now.
    Must...........absolutely must tidy up this room..........desk is a heap.......again and whats lurking underneath it........well don't ask............:rotfl:
