on the phone quoting the SOGA when you have no idea what you are entitled to or expect

I have since spoken to Consumer Direct about this and they have outlined everything for me so if the repair fails i know what to do next0 -

I wasnt uppity on the phone with them,i asked the person on the phone to read the SOGA to me and he said he wasnt legally trained to do so and thats how i left it
I have read the SOGA and i do understand it,i just wanted to make sure everything was 100% hence me signing up here and also phoning Consumer Direct (rang them before logging up here,they only rang me back today)0 -

I never asked anyone in the shop to read out the SOGA?
I never proceeded to think i was entitled to a brand new machine,i came away to make sure i was told the right information,i came away unhappy but never have i said i was right in any way,i just made sure that everything was covered0
