The odd, the strange and the downright bizarre - any ideas?

Hello knowledgeable MSErs,
I need your help! Basically this has been the most hellish year for me for reasons I won't go into but I'm making a New Years Resolution - to live life to the full in 2010.
I'm going to see as much as I can, do as much as I can and live, live, live (This year has shown me not to take life for granted and I want one year of my life to remember forever).
Sooooo..... does anyone know of any unusual, bizarre, odd, strange or just very quirky things to do in the UK?
I've come up with a Segway tour of Leeds castle, a skydive, the Pearly kings festival in London, swimming with sharks, indoor skydiving, learning to snowboard... but I need more. Any odd festivals, fun events? Cool places to see?
Sorry if this is a bizarre post but I'm taking this resolution seriously
Love Rosie.

There are some great websites if you google 'things to do before you die' or 'making a bucket list'. It' all a bit 'do before you die' stuff but there are some brilliant ideas and some very odd, depends how far you want to go with it I suppose. Have fun over Christmas exploring some wacky ideas and good luck with fulfilling them in 2010 :T0

You could spend the night in Bodmin Jail;

and while you're down there catch a show at the minack theatre;

I wrote a list of similar things when I was a student, prompted by my FAVOURITE - I played hopscotch on the Giant's Causeway! Loved it...0 -
