  • Please can you add me to the list? I have got an old washed out large natural yoghurt pot sealed with a slot cut in the lid with my first £2 in. I am really looking forward to achieving £365 in 365.

Thanks and good luck everyone with all their challenges in 2010.

Bromley mum you made me laugh when I read about you shaking your tin. I can imagine OH's up and down the country rolling their eyes when they hear about the 365 challenge :rotfl:

I'm doing my OH's head in about it and it's only day 2! :rotfl::rotfl:

This sounds fab..although not sure how I will have the pound each day, I tend to divvy out cash on payday n thats it all gone to savings/bills etc...but can try to put in any change and then on payday a lumpsum - does that sound reasonable?? Just its very rare I have money in my purse lol

all in...going to chew oh's ear off until he joins too...he does keep a lot of money in teapots..perhaps this is a private challenge he is having lol went to make a pot of tea and found £50 worth of pound coins:eek:

  • well, i've applied twice online for an e-savings account to put my £1 a day in (just so that i can easily track what i have saved!) and both times it's been approved but hasn't shown up in my accounts summary. so who knows, if both the accounts get approved i'll have a head start til mid-january :rotfl: (account 1 and standing order 1 + account 2 and standing order 2 + sealed tin)
    Comping since August 2022

    Loved this Rebekah24 !

Wish I could find magcal money filled teapots! The only place I discover money is in OH's trouser pockets when checking before washing....I suppose there is one advantage to being the only one who does the washing :rotfl:
