Hi All
I'd like to join if I may - I've just applied for a new online savings account as DH and I are saving to go away (with no kiddies!!!!) in 2 years time so this will help towards that goal. Until I get the new savings account details i've put £7 in the joint current account...wasn't anything in that one!
Good luck!

I'm not off to the BEST start - hubby took all my change yesterday as he had to get a taxi to work then when i went to Netto today I paid on my debit card. HOWEVER I do have this £5 bag of 10ps next to my sofa to bank on Monday then I shall put £10 to cover Fri/ Sat/ Sun/ Mon + the £5 bag + £1 interest for missing so many days.
WELL DONE all you people who are keeping up!!!loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0 -

I have £5 saved last year from our piggy bank that keeps 1p & 2p pieces so if 365 people join I'll add that to my tin as well.
I got a sealed tin from the 99p shop - really useful size - but couldn't stand the Disney Winnie the Pooh pictures on it so had a brainwave and searched through our stash of wrapping paper and covered it in some beautiful paper. It now looks really expensive and designer-ish.

Yey, a challenge I can stick to. Could you add me as well please :j. I already have a big jar I drop change into when I can. Its supposed to go towards holiday spending money but its handy to dip into for bus fare if I am having a bit of a skint week!
Anyhoo - I can manage a pound a day, and will top it up if I have to miss a day. I'll put my first two pounds away now.0 -
