£2 in my pot so far - it's a treasure chest shaped money box with a wooden owl on the lid and a slot just below the branches. I'm a Brown Owl and this was a present about four years ago - it really encouraged me to save, sad though that may sound!
I've printed off my calendar and have marked off yesterday and today with a forward slash. I'm also doing the NSD Challenge, so I'm using the same calendar for that and will circle any NSDs. I won't keep track otherwise!
A couple of friends have also decided to do this, and I'm thinking of putting 10p a day into piggy banks for each of the kids. They don't really get pocket money as such, so this would be a way to help them learn to save. I think I'd do it until Novemeber for them and then they can buy some inexpensive Christmas presents for immedicate family. What do others think?0 -
