Am going to the shops tomorrow to get myself a tin money box, I hope the pound shops haven't sold out cause it seems to be a really popular thread!

Please can I and OH join too? We are saving seperately in our own pots but would like to do the challenge for Christmas 2010. Great idea- and I have put my first £1 in today.

Me too please. I've got a sealed pot (need a can opener for it!) and have put the next couple of days worth of £1's in it. Also printed out a calendar to stick on it, so that I can mark off each day. Am going to try make sure I'm always in credit and not get behind, to make sure I make the £365!

i decided to start a new savings account for it and have set up a weekly standing order so i can't forget. plus i have a sealed tin for any loose change. am looking forward to 01/01/11 now

So glad the new year has started so i can start this challenge

£1 out of 365 is in my gold toy pig :j only 5 mins to go until i can put in number 2!!!! Am tempted to put in enough for a full week but it would mean leaving myself short for money until i get paid again and i don't think thats a good enough reason.... one a day will need to do

Can I join? I'm going to do mine online, and I think rather than transfer £1 per day, I'm going to aim to transfer a week's worth at the end of each week. As this challenge officially started today, I'll make Friday my 'end of the week' and hopefully transfer £7 each Friday so I guess my first update will be this time next week!
