Enjoying this challenge, and have been adding my 1 or 2 pounds daily.

I know it's early days but as tin is well sealed up I will def not be opening it.

It's going to be great to have all this money at end of year.

I'm doing this as well this year, however I've set up a s/o at the bank for £7 p/w, as I know that as soon as I need a few quid for lunch or whatever I would have been raiding the sheepbank (i've got a piggybank in the shape of a sheep!!), so if I can't see it, i can't touch it!! :p:p

I'm putting in all my loose change. i.e 50p's and under. So don't think i'm going to know exactly what i have in there at any given time. Then again it will be exciting on new years eve to see what i have managed. Good luck everyone.
Just trying to see what other challenges i can go in for, realistically that is. Havn't had work for a few months so living on JSA. Theres me OH and my DD age 15. So times are quite hard.
Maybe cut shopping down, NSD etc. Though i am really beeing careful anyway.
Any one with any ideas? Only have a debt now of £170 :T to that B.......... MBNA. But its slow going.
    Debt at 01/01/2010 £130 MBNA :T

There is the toiletries challenge where you don't buy anything you already have. Also there is the grocery challenge and the clothing challenge. Well done on getting your debt down though mine is much higher and its very slowly coming down.

I have put in my £1 for tomorrow just in case i forget plus i found another 35p on the carpet so thats gone it their now. I do have a big tin where i normally put all my loose change so some of it will go in there and some will join this challenge. Will probably need to use this money by the end of May so trying my best to save as much as possible.
