I sent my phone off to mobile2cash quite a while ago, and based on the payment schedule on their web site I should have been paid quite a while ago.

I obtained a certificate of posting but I have a drawer full, and I don't know what the address was and can't find it on their site. Please could anyone tell me what the address is that phones are sent to, so that I can find the right certificate and start chasing them up?

    Thanks.

they have sent me the freepost envelope but it is a thin paper envelope with no padding or protection for the phone. wouldnt take much for the phone to get damaged in transit. also the envelope is covered in 'Recycle your old mobile phone' and '....just put your phone in the bag....' which to me seems to be a massive advertisment for any light fingered postman. AND you have to fill out your name, address, email add and tel number on the outside. just all seems a bit dodgy. does this tie in with everyone elses experiences?

also, does anyone have an idea how much it would cost to send recorded delivery?

When I have sold old mobiles on eBay before, it has cost about £5 for first class recorded delivery, but that is for a mobile in it's original box, with charger and batteries. So if you are just looking to post the handset it will be a lot less - half that?
  • i sent my phone to mobile2cash about 2 months ago, however i have not received any payment from them yet. ive rang them and they told me the phone had not been received but since i had proof of posting they would give me the money anyway... its been around 7 days and i have yet to receive any money (which is £115).

I would just email them or ring them again, their customer service is very good
  • I've just sent off for packaging to recycle the multitude of phones we have collected over the years. I'm putting in the oldest phones too make sure they pay out etc, all going good I've got better ones to send for more money. Was looking at other sites and didn't have any feedback on them, but ppl here seem happy with them so fingers crossed. Thanks :D
