Morning everyone.
Off to the supermarket this morning god help me!!! I am not going again after today so if we forget something then tough!
DS woke again last night and was mucking about. Tried leaving him to self settle (lord you'd think he was a baby ) and he just got hystericalIts getting to be every night now and I just want him to sleep through.
Anyway light dusting of snow here still hasn't melted so out road (which is a cul de sac) should be interesting to drive on ungritted!
Tea tonight will be sausage, mash, peas and brown sauceH was watching an advert last night where they are eating the same and he fancied it.
right better get a move on if I am to actually going to get a baby space at Mr S..........
Tru - I agree with you about RATM - takes me back to my youth at my fave nightclubYou wouldn't believe how stroppy one of H's friends has got with him about it. You'd think she knew Joe personally the way she's over reacting
Diva - hope you catch up on some sleep and come back bright as a button xx
Taplady - hope your H hasn't hurt himself with his fall.
Have a good day all OS or not. Hugs to those that need them xxI have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

Morning :snow_grin
Still all covered in snow here car windows all frosted up will need scraping before we go out, had a little more snow overnight but not too much, very cold out there though.
Some really bad forecasts for today looks like almost everywhere is going to get something brrrrr
Not much going on here today really, off shopping for us and the 2 Mums, then off to book a meal, have to pop in to friends first to show them the menu and we can pre-order.
Want to get to Dunelm later to get MIL an extra pressy, she mentioned that she was having trouble getting comfy in her chair so I thought she might like a v shaped pillow, got my Mum one a couple of weeks ago and they are reasonable prices in Dunelm £6.99 and £2.99 for the cover.
Just had a lovely bowl of porridge that will see us through to Lunch time have some fresh bread that needs using up so will have Muligatawny soup and toast.
Dinner will be a rootle round in the freezer.
Thats something I need to get done, sort the freezer out, I seem to have lots of bits and pieces and half bags of stuff, so Dinner should be interesting
Have good days all

A nauseaous good morning to everyone
Hope everyone is well - I'm sure I've missed some bits and will catch up later.
Have just been to the doctors and he reckons I'm about 7 weeks along already! Can't believe it! Now have to get through Christmas without anyone realising that I'm not drinking or eating Stilton which will be a challenge seeing as my BIL and I are "Blue Cheese Buddies" Also, very, very tired - just aren't enough hours that I can sleep for at the moment.
Very icy here too - somehow the council seems to have gritted one side of the pavement in each road, but it's never the side I need to walk down!
Am going to attempt some breakfast in a minute see if that helps (wish me luck). Tea tonight is likely to be macaroni cheese, but that will depend entirely on how long my power nap is when I get home this evening
Have a lovely Christmassy day everyone - only 4 more sleeps to go :xmassmile - hugs to all xxSometimes that mountain you've been climbing is just a grain of sand,
What you've been out there searching for forever is in your hands0 -

Morning all:j
Thanks for your advice yesterday re the tumble drier - I guess there is no other option than to 'decorate' the rads. Looks like a Chinese laundry in here at the mo!! I know that when the lovely spring breezes blow I will be grateful that I don't have a TD:o
Didn't make Chelmsford yesterday - will try again this morning. I really don't like driving in this weather. Note to self: be more organised next year so that everything is ready at least a week before Christmas - NOT:rolleyes:
Nothing much OS to report here - WM is on (again!!!) Soup will go in the SC before we head out shopping. Dinner - who knows?!!!
I'm not sure who is on the verge of moving house but here's a warning - now that the dust from our house move has settled, I was going through the paperwork, filing or chucking, and discovered that we have been living in this house for the past two months UN-INSURED:eek::eek::eek::eek:. It seems that neither the estate agent, the mortgage company nor my solicitor picked up on the fact that the insurance proposal hadn't been taken up! I only realised when I couldn't find any policy details or seen any direct debits going out of the account. I'm sure I fell for the mortgage consultants advice to 'take out the policy we offer' - I even filled in the bank details. But hey-ho, we are insured now.....
Have a safe day everyone.

Morning all,
Maire, before I forget, if you get yourself a new phone make sure you get the same provider as before, ie vodafone, then they should be able to transfer all your numbers over to your new phone, they did it with me once.
Lilibet, its me on the cusp of moving, hopefully , thanks for the reminder, will make sure i arrange insurance.
Still bitterly cold here, and we have icy rain too, dd and I are off to sainsbugs this morning, wish us luck, going to get all we need today, and not go out again.
I have a wash in the wm, and will have a quick tidy round this morning, and then get out.
Have good days all xx0 -
Excuse me whilst I GGGGGGGGGRRRRRRRRRRRRR:mad::mad:
My friend has been without heating all weekend as her boiler appeared to have packed in. The plumber went round this morning pressed the reset button and it fired!!!! She had been pressing the timer button instead of the reset button:eek::eek: Thankfully she now has heat again.
2 loads of laundry done, OH outside defrosting the car so I can take it to the launderette and dry it all and not have it hanging around for days drying.
Upstairs clean done, just the sitting room and kitchen to do on Thursday.
Congratulations Lowesy on your news. I have sent you a PM
I was concerned about DS2 he was on the road yesterday, had not heard when we went to bed that he was home safe, message this morning to say he was safe and sound, and hoping to come tomorrow to collect the jeans he forgot on Saturday. Phew!!

Morning all you lovely OSers,
Lovely day with crunchy snow underfoot.Ddog woke us early again with his hound of the Baskervilles impression.I think because the crunchy sound is strange to him he is on intruder alert at the moment.I should be pleased because he makes a great guard dog (though the most he would do to a real intruder would be to sniff them to bits, being the big softie he is ),it was just a bit early, though we got up anyway.
Pleased HJ & Diva are OK.Hope you come back soon.
Hope all goes well in hospital Nic1Lou2.x
BM nearly finished.I've just had to rinse half the stuff in the DW as DH forgot to put any Rinseaid in and there were bits on.Washing and drying nearly done-ironing in a bit.
I'm going to make my cranberry & orange sauce today, and red cabbage.Did the spuds yesterday-they need bagging up now,not sure if there are enough though.I need to add a few things to my tesco order for tomorrow too-hope it comes
Hope everyone keeps warm and safe today.x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. (Eleanor Roosevelt)0 -
Having a good birthday, saving most of pressies till dd gets in from work. DS said they would do tea, he's decided on quesediillas and gone to the village to collect fresh stuff and do a bit of shopping for me. We only need a bit of fresh stuff. Bless him, he's said he would do whatever shopping we find we need this week, quite likes walking out to the village, especially on a nice day. I said we would make some ice cream for pudding.
On with the clearing up!
I'm having a Wiii (with the 'fit' bit !) for my birthday, but as it was a late decision won't arrive until tomorrow. I'm not sure if I should be pleased or not, I'm such a couch potato!"Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad"
