I managed to bag myself a nice black waistcoat from Primarni yesterday for the princely sum of £1! Also got some navy tights at £2.50 but they are from my accessory allowance.
Was still eyeing up a grey bag from Oasis but it's not coming down in price (was reduced from £60 to £40 - it's leather), noticed yesterday that is has a pen mark and a chunk out of the strap so mind made up, I walked away without it. It was lovely tho!0 -

I went charity shopping today and bought a nice black wool coat for £4.99, a pair of leather lined ankle boots (never been worn) for £4.99 and a pair of unworn Jones shoes for £6.99
However, it does mean that when I eventually get another office job, I will have smart shoes, trouser boots and coat all readyworking on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
Well I cracked and bought a new coat today - it's lovely, from New Look for £18. If you like New Look and you're a smaller lady, look in the Generation 915 section - I got a gorgeous coat for £18 in there, I'm usually a size 10 but it fits perfectly. In the adults section, something identical, is about £35-40!
I'm going to declare £9 for it - it was some birthday money I guess, and it was kind of a necessity but not - the coat I already had was old and now too big, but it still 'worked' - so I guess I'm another £9 down. Making my total so far £24.50 - eeek!:eek:Sealed Pot challenge #508
Crazy £100 Clothes challenge #11 - £24.50/£100 (£91 in 2009)

I have broken my no spends with a purchase of ebay. I needed something to go with an outfit I aready had for a wedding. The outfit was a bit summery and needed a cardigan to keep me warm. Its not something I love but it is practical and will get a fair bit of use. So thats £2.00 gone .
Have a few necessities to buy in the next month or so but hoping to keep it low. When it rains look for RainbowsWhen its Dark look for Stars0 -

In the same thread (pardon the pun), if you are a size 5 in shoes you can sometimes get some nice shoes in the Generation 915 section too, I got a lovely pair of grey satin peep toes for £7 (they were only £16 anyway) and they are so comfy. My niece has them in black (she is 11 and a size 5), we could swap shoes, ha!
P.S. Not recently, so not included in my challenge!!0
