Morning all
Went to bed about 10.15 last night, was asleep by 11 and woke up when DH's alarm went off at 8.30, then slept again til 9.45. I feel soooo much better!!!
So far I've had breakfast (plus a couple of bits of that white choc fudge) and spoken to my dad on the phone. Plus I've caught up on here!
pigpen - ouch, you be careful.
toots - sheets sounds lovely!
soappie - good news about the boiler (at least in the short term). I'm sure a day at home today will be good and of course you really should be around to make sure there are no more probs with the boiler
DH has made it into work, we are at the opera tonight (it's a long one and although it'll be nice I'd really rather stay in I think). I'm meeting him up in London at about 5pm so need to keep an eye on trains. I was going to go to the next town today to get the stuff i've reserved at Argos but not sure I'll make it today. I do need to go up the high street and get the bits I need for my list though.Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -

Right
1 TV given to charity shop
I broken tv returned to shop
New tv collected, better model and today was reduced so didn't have to pay too much on top.:j
Stupid here then forgot to pick up prescription, may ring hubby to see if he can.
Off to work now but leaving early due to driving condtions, all visits cancelled as I'm not driving down country lanes in this weather, too risky.
Must pick up hoover part.
Also collect Boots order.
Just found out that we're off all next week too......:TI didn't realise, great stuff.

I'm so glad you've got heating back Soappie - it's really not nice being cold! My knee is very warm because Stripes is stood next to me with her head resting on my knee. I might just hire her out if anyone gets cold!
Ooops late for my own HHC xx0 -
Glad it's sorted soappie! I hope you have instructions for a DIY fix if it goes again before the bank holiday is over. Did they tell you whether the fan can be replaced or is it a new boiler job? And think about looking into the immersion back-up option.
.
No I didn't get the DIY fix - and he never mentioned anything about replacement or stuff. He was keen to get to his next call - it was what I read on Google that bothered me a bit. I shall just convince myself they were scaremongering! I will think about the immersion back up.

You're absolutely right Rach - I need to be on hand to supervise the radiators !
Bacon and egg decluttered. I am now going to finish wrapping the presents and empty the laundry basket via the washing machine...I am the leading lady in the movie of my life
