Number 22 calling! I've now paid off £4984.12 far from where I wanted to be but I'm managing to chip away at it while still having a nice life, hols, concerts etc without making the debt creep up - this is something I'd never have been able to do before the challenge.
I do feel a bit guilty as I could put more money to it monthly and not have my trips but then I'd be miserable so guess it's finding a balance.
Well done to everyone who have achieved 100% :T I'll be joining the commonwealth challenge which is fitting as I'm from Glasgow! I'm aiming to be sub £20,000 by the Olympics! Gosh sounds weird as at my lightbulb momnet only 4 years ago it was nearer 50k, if I can do it everyone can! It just takes time.LBM 03/07 £44k:eek: DFD 31/12/17 :A 12/17 £2545.50

Unfortunately i seem to be in the same situation as last month. We did tighten our belt, but had guests down for easter and ate out every night, so my finances took a pounding. Just wanted to post to say im still very much in and hoping to make a dent next month and am still on track.to pay them off0

Hi Dragon
Number 127 reporting in I am very pleased to say that I have cleared my final CC and have reached my total of £32000 :j:j:j:j:j:j
Thank you so much for encouraging me to do this I really didn't think I would make it.:A
I don't consider myself debt free as the mortgage is still a debt but that is for the next chapter.
Thanks again and good luck with your new challenge
