Hi Dragon,
Could I please report a payment of £1298.10
This means I've made my last payment!! I now owe nothing (other than the mortgage but I'm ok with that).
Good luck to you all - keep going!

Brilliant news TooMany4Legs, woo hoo!
Well will do updates on here til the Commonwealth thread is ready, we're down to £12566 so £531 paid off (I think), it was more but I (ahem) treated us to a nice picture for the livingroom at the weekend so it went up slightly. Planning on getting on £10K by the Olympics. Well done everyone else!0 -

Hello!!
So, some number crunching from me.
When I declared in Dec 2009 we owed £7,935.66. This shot up to £13591.13 by July 2010.
Today we owe £1830.60, meaning we have paid off a whopping £11,760.53 - or 86.5%
SO HAPPY!! Not least so because hubby gets a bonus in May that will clear the rest. Hoorah!!!0 -

#67. MrGreen here for my March 2012 update, The finishing line for me will be after the Olympics but I'm really glad I joined this challenge and had something to aim for and would like to thanks The Dragon for starting the challenge and for everyone else for taking part, it's not the end yet so don't any of you give up there's still a few months to go.
Always be positive and keep plugging away, going through this journey of paying off my credit cards I have really come to understand what the saying "Time is money" really means, every week/month you get to pay off your debts earlier you'll be that much better off.
Good luck and stay focused
Starting amount - £23,245.73
Left to pay £5,320.35
Paid to date - £17,925.38
% Paid - 77%Nearly debt free
