Hi all,
Not been around much since becoming (personally) debt free last April (and taking the Silver in this challenge).
Now for the confession, (I'll let The Dragon judge whether or not to strip me of the Silver). WE (not just I) are in debt, there, I've said it.
Since last April, we bought a new house, moved into said new house, got married, and went on honeymoon (wedding and honeymoon saved for). We did however borrow some of the deposit money and with fees, new appliances (mines were left in my old house as renting out), new bedroom furniture etc., we racked up a fair whack.
Now the good news, although debt is currently at £13097 , it was at £20,599 last Aug, so we have managed to clear £7.5K already.
Being Scottish, as someone above said, our new goal is to be debt free by the Commonwealth games, actually aiming for next June/July but that's going hell for leather and not having much of a life.
So confession over, do what you will Dear Dragon0 -
