Well inspite of the fact that they had nothing at either the Warrington Gemini or Warrington Golden Square stores, we still mangaged to psend £40. This lunch the "sale" shelf was empty at GS but tonight the single sale shelf was fully stocked.
  • Whats stock in Northern Ireland's Boots like?
Ballymena's Tower Centre was pretty much cleared by 11am on Wednesday. Lots of ripped open packages littered around the place. Went to the tiny Boots in Ballyclare (got baby things at Asda there too) and by then they had 5 of the No.7 ultimate set, around 10+ of the Gok sets and loads of Sanctuary sets plus Kitty/Transformers/small gift things left.
I really want a No.17 vanity set so if there are Boots that have them please let me know.

I'm not very happy with Boots.com at all. I was really holding out for that Giant Inflatable ball (like a Zorbing ball for kids) for my niece. I had it in my basket for weeks. It went OOS on Wed morning when it was reduced to £17.50. Miraculously it's now back in stock but they want £70 for it, which they're never going to get, let's be honest. The whole online thing was a farce. There are now about 6 items in my favourites back at full price and back in stock. Poor show Mr B :(

Same here i had 3 toys saved as favourites and then in my basket got as far as the checkout before the web site crashed!
2 of these are now back in stock at full price!
Have emailed boots and got a standard reply that they will be in touch as soon as possible!

Dont hold out any hope of getting items at sale price though:(

The Accessorize case is more bath stuff, i got one today for £5 cos the little drawer on the bottom was empty ? Dont even know what was in there tho tbh...

The No17 one is lovely too, more make up with eyeshadows, lipglosses and brushes in a silver case..

Both good for the money though... I'd be happy with either as a present...

    :)

Eyeshadows and lip glosses should be in bottom with couple little brushes. Thanks for info they sound very similar. Im sort of thinking the shiny brown colour maybe more suitable for 17 year old than the silver No 17 one. Maybe I wasnt meant to find one. Like I wasnt meant to find the No7 ulimate for myself. I think someone somewhere knows I already have a stash of No7 to last me a while! :D

there are just bits and pieces...don't know what you are after...but earlier today I saw lots of the magnolia and lavender kits, the old boots formula boxes, star trek mugs, some toys, quite a few botanics mini treats cosmetic purse. there is more than that but I can't remember it all. Is BA and US cleared out?

I went in yesterday and US had a lot of things.. but today hardly anything....they had lots of lavendar sets but no santuary at all, several ted bakers sets left, and mens fcuk...cant remember all really....few lip gloss kits, dance mugs

Yesterday there were about 8 shelves full, today only about 3 or so. Still fcuk ladies purses i think i saw. Lots of toiletries things.

Went to update my points today so didnt go in for anything really, managed to update most of my receipts but SA forgot to vailadate one worth a whopping 40 pts...but i will survive lol the other ones were validated tho :)

I thought I would just give everyone something else to think about whilst enjoying their bargains.

My sis who works for UN was in Haiti for 2 years and is going back in the next couple of weeks with the relief mission. She had told me how poor the people were when she lived there and we as a family have been collecting clothes for the children and taking them to her to send on for a couple of years ( when Woolworths closed she was home and she bought a whole suitcase of t-shirts for 20p each) So perhaps instead of worrying about what people do and do not have people should channel their energy into thinking of those poor people and sending some money to the appeal
    instead.

Your post is very 'holier than thou'. How on earth do you know that people on this thread haven't given? How patronising. This thread is about the Boots sale, I'm sure there are discussion boards all over the internet that would welcome your smug tone.
