Totally agree, there have been numerous occasions when I have asked someone politely if I can get past with my pram, to which I have been tutted at... and these weren't even on sale days!
Once a woman walked backwards into my pram without even looking then acted like it was my fault! Luckily her husband saw what had happened and told her to get a grip :T0 -
On another note my boots order has been despatched :j0

After all as been said and done would you all do it again next year :T
Absolutely. Although I think next year, I won't attempt the online sale (unless I am ill or something) and will just resolve to get up extra early and be at the store before 9.
I spent just over £30 and managed to cove all my girly birthday gifts for the year. It's an absolute boon for me,, and maybe we've all got low standards but my friends and I love getting Boots sets. When you don't have much money for spending on toiletries, it's so nice to not have to go and buy cheapy showergel etc, but get gifts of nice branded toiletries that you know and love.
I'm lucky that my birthday is 6 months from Christmas. I've got enough showergel, body scrub and moisturiser to last me till my brithday, when hopefully someone will give me something they might have got in the Boots 75% sale.
I couldn't care less how somone has obtained the gift they giv eme (paid full price, git it cheap, got it second hand, regifting) as long as it's something I want/like/can use.0 -

I think if they are shifting that quick then you would find it difficult to find them. Have you tried Cortonwood? They usually have a good selection.
Aaah thanks. They'd all gone though this morning, and no, havent tried Cortonwood yet, bu hubby works at Morrisons next door so will get him to have a nosey

Next year all the buggy mummies should organize a Boots sale creche in their local area, with payment to the ones who stay behind with the little ones being made in Boots goodies. Come on ladies! Use your imaginations!
All the ladies struggling with buggies I highly reccomend a sling to carry them in instead! I took my DD yesterday and most people didnt even realise I had a littlie with me, both hands were free to get the things I wanted and I didnt have to try and push my pram down the aisles :T The SA only realised she was there after tilling up my purchases, and I got everything I went for :j (If anyone was in Stockport first thing you might have seen me!)Belly Monkey arrived 19.11.09 :j0 -

I went to Hanley yesterday and there was hardly anything left. Quite a lot of men's Ted Baker and FCUK sets left. Some women's FCUK purse sets, a lot of the flowery bath/shower sets, some foody stuff, christmas cards/crackers and that was pretty much it. The odd box of the 'Serial shopper help kit' etc... but the boxes were completely battered.0 -
Ooooh I received my delivery today, very speedy.
Did anyone else order the fairtrade hamper? It's huge! I may end up splitting the pack and make my own gifts from it. There is just so much in there!
Very pleased with my shot to go leather picture decorations, will make lovely gifts for the family with a pic of us and our DD.
I must admit, I cannot stay mad at Boots for the website problems, speedy delivery made up for it so well done Mr B!Comping wishlist for 2017
