I got up st 2.45 and stayed up till 3.45 then gave up. Went to Bristol Broadmead but got stuck in traffic so di not get there until 8.20a.m. About 8 people with 3 or more baskets rammed with stuff but plenty let. No Sanctuary , No 7 or Soap and glory though. Got a few things and oh helped a few ladies who had a lot of shopping by getting them extra baskets. Then went to Cribbs Causeway and go there at 9.29 just as they opened. About 15 people in queue who all scrambled under the door as it opened and ran in. There were a couple of No 7 Ultimate sets which went straight away ( I dont really lik no 7 so did not want one.) I got some Sanctuary perfume sets for £3.75 each which will make lovely Mothers Day or Birthday presents, Some Ted Baker mens sets , Fcuk mens sets , some biscuits and some Scents of Occasion sets. Within 5 minutes it had turned into a bunfight but nobody seemed interested in the Gok sets of which there were loads. So left OH with bags, went to Adv machine and got a load of Vitamin vouchers, bought 9 x .99p each and got £18.00 of points. So went back and split shopping into lots and gpt another 250 points for spending over £35.00. Then I used all my points gained by Vitamin purchases to pay for the other shopping. My OH left with the shopping so I checked my ADV balance and his and bought 2 small Ted Baker make up bags for my DD and her friend, A white collection and finally one of the Gold Sanctuary bags that were on offer way back for £10.00 in total with remaining points. Really pleased with purchases especially as my two sisters my daughter and me wont need any perfume till next year. There may have been a lot of people buying lots for e-bay but the quality products were not available this year so they will struggle to make much profit. Came home and managed to get a Stephanie costume and a couple of Dora products online for my nieces birthday next week. Happy with my stuff and hope everyone else did well.
I had printed off an extra couple of vouchers for the 250 points with £35.00 spend so gave them to lady behind me in queue to use. I am tired and exhausted but wont need to shop for anyone's presents again this year.0 -
Trafford center was mental.
I am really dissapointed this year. Hardly got anything really. Got Hubby his aftershave and 2 mens fcuk sets.
My mum got a few bits but didn't get the royal jelly set she was after.
They did have a few toys but they were not great really or only half price.
I remember getting such good stuff a couple of years ago.
The amount of stuff people were buying this morning was mental. People standing around with lots of huge blue bags full of stuff with others ran off to get more.
Why do people need 20 of the same thing?? Madness.
I'm glad we were in and out quite quickly as the ques became really long.
Didn't help having dd in her buggy as the isles were full of people and couldn't get down them.
Oh well I am pleased with what I did get.

Oh me again sorry.:rotfl: (I am feeling so deliriously silly.
) I would have bought so much more if I had the money, Ive hardly got any presents. That lot I bought barely make a dent in what i have to buy over the year!! The celia birtwell stuff was all gorgeous, would have bought loads of it if I was flush, ill be saving hard for next year!
And one last thing, if anyone has any Dr Who things that they bought but dont want could you please consider selling them to me as Im finding it so hard to find Dr Who stuff these days! Thankyou and sorry for asking. (feel very cheeky!:o)
Mut go and pick my DS up from school now.'They only had one cow!'0 -

Then up to the big Boots at Fort Kinnaird where there was a bit of a scrum going on but there wasn't that much that was interesting tbh.
Good morning all in all, but not half as much fun as it was two years back when I first discovered the 75% off sale!
I had sussed out the Fort yesterday and decided there was not much to be had. Once I did get there I only bought crackers.
I agree with you to...its just not the same anymore! Still fun...but not as good, although I have to say everyone in the smaller stores were good humoured and curtious. Not so at the Fort.0 -
my order for the rose petal cottage and the castle failed
if anyone has ordered one of them and decides they no longer want it on delivery and you live in the herts/beds/bucks area can you please message me...i will happily buy it off you!
Im not fussed on which one, i ordered both on the intention of only keeping one of them, depending on what one looked more suitable for my 4 and 1 yr old.
