Boots after-Christmas sales - 75% off now over?

went upto fareham store at lunchtime as loads i wanted online went oos lots up there so well worth a trip and they were still unpacking boxes.

Lots of toys and gift sets fcuk, ted baker, jelly one?, miss sixty. I went mostly for the toys though.

Might be worth trying later when they stock the shelves again.

Well after stopping up all night till 4.30 (couldnt cope any longer) and then having to get up at 6.30 to get kids ready for bed, found most of the toys I had in my basket (when finally got through) were only 50% off (some folk must have brought them as now OOS). I ventured to 3 smaller boots before collecting DD from nursery - managed to get some santury sets, gok one, some photo bauble stuff for next xmas tree, a boots kids drawer set, some charlie and lola letters, mr men chatterphone -no s&g, not No7/17 stuff anywhere (suspect the early risers got them). After nursery I ventured with daughter to merry hill and was very messy, alot of stock opened or damaged and nothing really that appealed (did get a pair of trousers in the clearance M&S for a £1 tho!). Just come back and no nothing left in my basket.

TIP incase you have not done - I just went through my back xmas orders and managed to re-order a playmobil ship and lighthouse (these were not showing up for sale in the site), so got a few bargains all in all...

For anyone that didn't get a confirmation email you may have a similar problem to me, I just called up and my order wasn't confirmed as it went down as the system crashed!

Nothing I ordered is left in stock so nothing I can do about it. If you had the same problem maybe you should give them a call to check, the call was answered quickly, the girl was really helpful...not her fault so no point getting angry with her, she offered £20 of points on my card so what more can I do really?

Will pop into Chelt store later...if there is anything left.....does anyone know???

Nope, mine isn't and I paid with paypal, which I have a confirmation for. I'm going to leave it til about 4 before calling CS.

I was in Crawley at 8.50am just before work, there was one of those No7 big sets with makeup but it was broken with bits fallen out. I didn't buy anything - I hope they put some more sale stock out.
