Boots after-Christmas sales - 75% off now over?

Well I hit 3 Southampton stores today, Town centre, West Quay and Woolston. Spent about £150 and got a whole bed full of stuff! Some stuff will be going back as I think i've gone a bit too mad!! Didn't really see any toys in any of them but did get some ITNG cuddlies.

Woolston one I was the first customer at 9.15! I got 6 mini perfume sets!

totally agree went to telford retail park and people with 2 trolleys and lots ofthe blue net bags
going straight on the car boot or ebay 1 thinks

I went to my local this morning and got there just before they opened, it was busy but not as bad as I had expected but after being in the shop forabout 15mins it got a lot busier.
I got 2 of the £40 gok sets
I sanctuary set in the gold bag
fcuk set
some fresh stuff
royal jelly stuff
chocs, and probably some other bits but can't remember what they are, might try going back in tomorrow to have a look as I realised when I got home I had forgotten to get quite a few presents for people

Just returned from the Birmingham New St store.. alot of stuff still there but mainly shower gel / body lotion sets.. was hoping to get some makeup sets Did get a couple of Elle MacPherson boxes though. According to my receipt, I saved nearly £39. Just noticed I've been charged twice for the most expensive thing I bought too!

People were buying a lot at the shopping centre so could be all gone. (incl me!)

Was at EK Town Centre store about 9:30... place was MOBBED and several buyers had 3 and 4 net bag things each! Not many toys there - just a few in the night garden items but plenty in the way of gift sets etc.

advice needed please,

right - i ordered some bits from boots when there 50% off sale started and as usual the site was having a wobbly - not realising i placed 2 orders for £26.49 one after the other through paypal and did not get the paypal confirmations until 5 mins after - the orders never showed on the boots site, but just checking my paypal account it is still showing as "pending", so does this mean that my money is somewhere in cyberspace or boots bank account or being held? hope this makes sense, i only ask as it has just happened again with paypal not for such a large amount.

High Chelmer:
I couldn't see any toys anywhere (unless they had them up the back with baby stuff?)
A lot of cards but they had nicer designs in the Meadows.
Lots of wrapping paper
LOTS of the FCUK set with black wallet, hairspray and two lip glosses
A decent stack of the Front Cover makeup sets
NO No7 to be seen, I went and double checked over at the counter
NO S&G to be seen
Star Trek luggage sets
Quite nice sage green mugs with cream polka dots
Chocolates & biscuits
Lots of the mini whiskey selection boxes
Lots of the small Archers sets
Some Gaymers cider sets
Some CAMRA winner ale sets
Lots of some mens toiletries in a mesh bag with blue strap? Unsure of brand
Lots of the rose/lavender little bags with wash puff and mini shower gel
Lots of red leather wallets (these were quite nice)
Lots of the mugs with cats and dogs toys in
Lots of hot chocolate mugs
Lots of the generic big makeup sets (not really branded as far as I could see)
Fresh spongebags with bath buff and little shower gel thing

A staff member did come out with a trolley which had 3x Elle Macpherson white/black bags but they didn't even see the shelf before people grabbed them

Just back from Dundee High Street - everything was flying off the shelves. Met a lovely pair of sisters who had a huge Ikea bag full of sets!

There was still plenty of Fresh, Ted Baker, Cranberry or Mango, Botanics, and loads of wrapping paper and cards and food.

Saw a couple of the Ruby and Millie Purple Vanity case.

I got 16 items for around £32.

Also upstairs, they have a clearance bit which had a few Morgan perfumes and Two Faced make-up sets half price.

Snow as stopped and almost gone so off to Newport to see what boots have in there and as there is 2 fingers crossed
