I went to the Sunderland boots this morning at approx 8:40 and spent £60 with a saving of over £140 They were still putting more stock out and i got the 3 plush in the night garden toys which they were just putting out, spent nearly an hour in there but worth it!
Was getting busier though so guess they will be running very low0 -

Few bits left but not worth special trip.
Got there 5 minutes after openning and nearly turned around and walked off - sooo many rude people. Do not mind people who trying to get presents for rest of the year but I do not believe that two full trolleys and six large shopping bags crammed full of same toy will end up as presents. :mad:0 -
Wondered if anyone had been to any stores in East Kilbride/Lanarkshire or Glasgow? Thinking of maybe heading out, but not sure if it will be too late for any stock left? Thanks.
There was quite a lot at EK shopping centre at 11am -they were still putting stuff out. Iggle piggle and gift sets and more. No No7 at all .Kingsgate has virtually nothing -wrapping paper and crackers.
People were buying a lot at the shopping centre so could be all gone. (incl me!)0 -
it was civilised but there were quite a few pushchairs there which made it difficult to reach stuff-as well as ppl with loads of those big mesh bags.i would say there weren't too many toys there but i did buy a set of 3 ITNG beanies for my niece's birthday.i got 2 football survival and 2 shoppers kits,2 fcuk sets (black purse, lip gloss & body spray, chilli pepper ( 3 things in a box),photo album,2 celia birtwell purse and key fobs and 2 Extracts mini bags.bought a 90p magazine to make the money up so i could use extra points coupon from machine-which i used with my mailing extra points/double points coupons.
shame you couldn't get there-maybe next year?
ah ha the secret weapon of the boots shopper..a pushchair to stop other reaching the bargains :rotfl:. Will try and organise things better next year! Missed last year's sale but went the year before..got there at just after 9am after dropping ds1 at school and already most of the toys had gone there seemed to be a group of women with the double trolleys and a plan lol....
hope mr boots has some good glitches this yearBrendan's new dance partner...please0 -

Oh well, went down to my small local branch and bought lots of nice things including a Country Living gardening set, a Sanctuary hexagonal box and a hat making craft kit for DD plus some Fresh cocktail shaker bath sets for the present box. Then up to the big Boots at Fort Kinnaird where there was a bit of a scrum going on but there wasn't that much that was interesting tbh. Goot the notebooks I went for, left the rest. Straiton was the same. I went out determined not to just spend for the sake of it and came back with points left on my card.
Good morning all in all, but not half as much fun as it was two years back when I first discovered the 75% off sale!Val.0
