Be thankful you got one at all! I have 120 miles on my car (and out of pocket on petrol money) trying to get one before Christmas and three sleepless nights of trying to get one online to show for my efforts. I would gladly pay £200 -
Oh, what a morning, after this morning's fiasco on the website I decided to venture into my local Boots - they didn't have a tremendous amount but I managed to get what I wanted.
1 x FCUK Mini Travel Collection - £2.50
1 x Elle Macpherson Body Box - £3.75
1 x The Ultimate Sanctuary Oasis - £5.00
1 x Lee Stafford Climate Control - £2.00
1 x Boots Wallet - £2.00
1 x Lavender Cosmetic Purse - £1.25
1 x Rose Gift Set - £2.50
1 x FCUK Urban Giftset - £1.25
1 x Botanics Top To Toe Gift Set £1.50
As I said not much there but a few bits to keep in my birthday box, oh and a small box of belgian chocolates for myself at £1.50.
Hope everyone else managed to get what they wanted too.0 -
75% off Boots was the talk of Home Bargains this morning!
So had to call in...and so proud of myself! I resisted as there was just minimal tat left. Glad I bought what I wanted last week.Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

DD got one for christmas and it's a bit of a faff to say the least!
BTW - Hamsters! - my kids set has been played with twice since xmas - thought it may have held their attention a little longer after all the trouble I went to! :rotfl:
Hope they went down better in your household!
lol, sounds like I may have. The hammies are still proving popular - the ball is rubbish though after all that fuss!!0 -

Thanks for the info on Hitchin/Letchworth.
Went to Luton as much bigger & better but much busier
Ooh another North Herts person (although I am actually across the border in Bedfordshire :cheesy:. Was also in Biggleswade this morning mystery shopping but didn't quite have time to go to the Boots there. It is possibly the smallest Boots I know so wouldn't expect much there anyway.
Luton a little far to get to as needed to get small daughter from school at 11:30. Would also probably have got lost:rotfl:0 -
After finally deciding if to go I took a trip to nearest large Boots.
It was really pretty busy, but a good atmosphere.
Got a few bits but not gone mad, unlike some (who needs 2 trolly full overflowing with things).. greed I think.
1 woman comented that she saw it plasterd over the internet, and my local when driving home was the buziest Ive ever seen it.
I managed to get 4 bottles of harajuka fragrance for the normal price of one.
Spent £30 in total, pleased until I returned home to hear CC has been hacked:mad:0 -
I have now received a second order confirmation email for an order I placed online at 5.20ish this morning, looks like it must have gone through twice even though it only asked for payment once, will keep anything really good but return unwanted duplicates.
