I wait an age for it to load my basket, try to get to check out, get booted, site goes down and wont let me in for 5 minutes = then repeat the whole process!!

Me thinks that Mr. Boots is going to get a LOT of complaints after this one - if they cannot keep their servers up then they shouldn't do it - afterall we stayed up ALL night so the least they could do is buy a decent server - they could be taken over if they ain't careful.
