Ladies i have read back about 15 pages and cant find an answer to this:
I have added a load of items to my wishlist which are now out of stock. I assume that when they update the site these might well come back instock. Is there any advantage to actually putting items in my basket now?? Other than just being able to check-out as soon at the 75% kicks in? I know it'll save me a few clicks in the morning but its there any other benefit? Will i still be able to buy stuff off my wishlist (assuming its in stock) if it isnt in my basket now?
And i called into Merry Hill this evening before they shut - shedloads of stuff left but no S&G, No7 - just fresh stuff, and loads of little gifty pack, fcuk mens stuff, biscuits and pizza stone sets, millions of crackers and bucks fizz, about 4 double isles i think. The SA confirmed it was 75% but said they WEREN'T opening early - just normal 9am.0 -
I didn't do any last year (too poor lol) and previous years have just done online.
I used to be able to get at least 50% of my boys christmas presents in the 75% off sale and have had some brilliant brilliant bargains.
I doubt I will get anything for the boys this year. The toys seem to have all gone.
The fort had a few bits on Sunday but not much.
I need some mens pressies for birthdays & dh wants some of the mini aftershave sets.
My mum is after a royal jelly set for her sisters birthday at the weekend and she has a broken arm so hope its not going to be lots of pushing a shoving.
Will have dd with us in the 3 wheeler too so its probably not going to be fun :rotfl:
I'm not after any no7 or gok sets so should be safe ha ha
Must depend what you are after because I had a field day looking the fort earlier eyeing up what I wanted hehe Think its mainly cause I want gok set and No.7 set and they had loads and I havent seen them in trafford centre! Im not after toys like you so at least we arent competition for each other hahaha
Will keep an eye out for lady with a three wheeler blocking the aisles hehe0 -

Oh dear dont want to have to fight hahaha although I know exactly what I want from TC..... R+M compact!!!!! so will just head straight for them! Luckily the bulky items are in stock at the fort so I will hopefully only need smaller items at trafford centre. I havent been in since saturday, have you checked the stock levels since then? Also strange question, is it best to queue downstairs? Do all the shutters open at once?
Yeah thats the one, they open at 9am, haven't been in this week so not sure whats left there. Was last in TC last wed/thurs and managed to get a few toys at 75% off purely by chance was just passing thru and there were people gattherd round the toys - staff had block edthe isle off until they had marked them down -there was lots of stock in then. Last year I waited downstairs, fingers crossed we will get some good bargains, i've ran all mine down so need to restock my pressie cupboard!0 -
I promise not to cause a riot and knock you over or anything.:D Knowing me I will sleep in and miss it:rolleyes:. Do you know does Airdrie open at 9. Do know if I can be bothered going to EK as traffic will be murder at that time.0

right everyone think I am going to have to sign off this forum as I have done nothing but post, read and reply since I got home my dance and havent done anything I need to do! Theres just so much activity that I know I will still be sat here at 3am reading if I dont get going, which doesnt bode well for getting to a store for 9am then heading to uni for a full day of revision.
Goodnight and good luck everyone0 -
I have just noticed... the 75% off sale is in this week's email!! And Martin will no doubt pop up on the GMTV sofa to spread the word tomorrow. So the last 2 people in the country who don't realise it's happening will know by 8:45 tomorrow!! :rotfl::rotfl:
