Me, me and me hehe You just named my exact route! Although after going to regent road today I noticed there was nothing really left so am having an extra hour in bed! Have u done them before by any chance, i.e. know if we need our 'buffet elbows' at the ready? Im hoping fort will be quiet but I may be daydreaming!

I didn't do any last year (too poor lol) and previous years have just done online.
I used to be able to get at least 50% of my boys christmas presents in the 75% off sale and have had some brilliant brilliant bargains.

I doubt I will get anything for the boys this year. The toys seem to have all gone.
The fort had a few bits on Sunday but not much.
I need some mens pressies for birthdays & dh wants some of the mini aftershave sets.
My mum is after a royal jelly set for her sisters birthday at the weekend and she has a broken arm so hope its not going to be lots of pushing a shoving.
Will have dd with us in the 3 wheeler too so its probably not going to be fun :rotfl:

I'm not after any no7 or gok sets so should be safe ha ha

I'm going to trafford retail park 1st (this is my nearest store) was fairly civalised last year, then to trafford centre -which was chaos last year!! Dreading TC as will have my 3 year old in with me who is off school so think i will take the buggy to TC, don't want her getting lost in the sea of crazy folk! Good Luck

whereabouts is trafford retail park? Is that where carphone carhouse, pizza hut etc is? Im familiar with the trafford centre but not with places around it!

Oh dear dont want to have to fight hahaha although I know exactly what I want from TC..... R+M compact!!!!! so will just head straight for them! Luckily the bulky items are in stock at the fort so I will hopefully only need smaller items at trafford centre. I havent been in since saturday, have you checked the stock levels since then? Also strange question, is it best to queue downstairs? Do all the shutters open at once?

Do u think 8 is too early to go?
At first i planned to go for 9 oclock then thought had better make it 8.30, after looking on here i might go even earlier.

    Hiya Gee:hello:

Thank you for posting the stock levels in EK.

Think 8am maybe a bit early, I think the shop opens at 9am, so you will have time for a coffee:) It may open earlier though, oh what to do?:rotfl:

    Hello fellow glasgow bootsers :hello:

I was a glasgow fort about 4pm today and I can confirm they have got about 4 double sided shelves full of items. I have tried to remember some of them but was with my sister who kept hurrying me up lol as she didnt have much time before she had to go back to work.

    Fcuk Blue mens set
    Garden Teapot Set
    In The Night Garden Figures
    Chilli Pepper Bags
    Survival Kits
    Chocolates
Fcuk women purse and body spray set

Loads of other stuff but sorry cant remember it all. I did not they have no no7 items at all no ruby millie or toys.

    I hope that helps :D
  • Anyone know what the stock is like at any of the Swindon stores?? Thanks

BTW, it's a good idea to have some sort of shoulder bag, worn across your body like a school satchel, and only put the bare minimum in it, and have points coupons in an envelope, so you're not scrabbling about for things.

    xx
Thats a great tip sandra thanks. My bag is always getting in my way lol. Better go dig one out.

So much for me thinking i would be the only one there :D

I promise not to cause a riot and knock you over or anything.:D Knowing me I will sleep in and miss it:rolleyes:. Do you know does Airdrie open at 9. Do know if I can be bothered going to EK as traffic will be murder at that time.

  • Oh god, my 3.5 year old has developed a nasty cough so not sure if he will be going to preschool tomorrow.......that means I have to drag him (walking) and my 4 month old in the pushchair round boots.

Hmmmm, but if he isn't going to preschool that means I can get to town before 9am....wont get there until nearly half past otherwise!

Also planning to park in the 'expensive' carark as its closer!
If my words are missing letters then please excuse me....my keyboard is a tad dodgy!!
