  • Well, GigglesFairy - that's why I suggested grabbing A Stranger From The Street to help you carry things!! Don't you have a Granny Trolley, then you could put some stuff in there, saying loudly to the Security Guard "I'm just putting those things in there cos I don't have enough arms", and then wheel it up to the counter?

Or is there a Sainsbury's/Tesco/Asda/Morrison/M & S within walking distance of Boots, and you could take one of their trolleys? Worth the £1 deposit, if you have an easy time!

    xx

ah I dont have a granny trolley :'( being 24! And no nannas to lend me one either! DAMN! Ive only been to the boots twice before 9to check out stock for tomorrow) so not sure one whats nearby or on whetehr you can lend trolleys. Would feel a little silly going into boots with someone elses trolley though hahaha Looks like Ill be carrying about 4 baskets! Going to take advice of another poster and wear a shoulder bag (need to route one out!) so at least my arms are free! I did manage to navigate my way through boots in trafford centre with two baskets on boxing day in the mad rush so hopefully i will be ok. Even text my friend asking if she fancied tagging along but aparently she has a dentist appointment!

Hiya, where are you heading tomorow - Im thinking of going to East Kilbride but who knows, any ideas how Hamilton is looking for stock????
Town centre stock was sparse on Sunday but my pal said it was looking bulkier this afternoon. Never even been in the Hamilton branch, sorry! Not taking my chances in EK, heading straight into town about 8ish :D

Does anyone live in the North East & know what stock levels are like in Newcastle upon Tyne or Metro Centre?

Hiya, I had a look round a couple today. The smaller ones like the whitley bay/cramlington and north shields branches have only a couple of sets in. Although the one in Whitley did have the No7 p&p set that is £60 (not the case that is currantly £30, the one that was OOTW before xmas, originally £120 i think)
Kingston park wasn't too bad...About 1 and a half aisles, with fcuk, a couple of No7 things, royal jelly, and other bits and pieces. They also had here a No7 ultimate collection near the till.
The Silverlink was a bit better. ABout 3 aisles with bits and bobs.
Apparently the Bridges in Sunderland had loads of stuff, but I can't comment on the metrocentre I'm afraid. I think this may be quite popular. Hope you have fun

Me, me and me hehe You just named my exact route! Although after going to regent road today I noticed there was nothing really left so am having an extra hour in bed! Have u done them before by any chance, i.e. know if we need our 'buffet elbows' at the ready? Im hoping fort will be quiet but I may be daydreaming!

I'm going to trafford retail park 1st (this is my nearest store) was fairly civalised last year, then to trafford centre -which was chaos last year!! Dreading TC as will have my 3 year old in with me who is off school so think i will take the buggy to TC, don't want her getting lost in the sea of crazy folk! Good Luck
