Hi Wondering if anyone who has been to previous sales instore knows if the stores usually stick to their usual opening time. My local store is 9am but worried i go at 9 and they opened earlier for the sale.

Two years ago I went to the Sheffield city centre one about 15 mins before it opened at 8am, and I noticed that one of the doors was wide open. I went inside and upstairs and there was hardly anyone around. Just all this lovely stock reduced by 75%. I guess this is the sort of thing that MSE Bootsers dream about... I got a basket and started filling it but then one of the assistants came up looking cross and asked me who I was. She then told me that they weren't open yet. I asked if she wanted me to go back outside and she said yes. :o

I'm sure they have now learnt their lesson and will keep the doors firmly closed until the advertised opening time...

So is the 75% sale on tomorow?
  • Hey, Thanks for that. Im still holding out that they may put some S&G stuff out. Im taking my BF to train station at 8 so hopefully should be there for just after opening.

Where is everything? Is it upstairs and womens downstairs? For my normal bits and pieces I normally go to chapelfield boots as dont really go down castle mall end anymore.

Thanks for updating wasnt sure if I could be bothered but think i will now.

Ladies stuff bottom floor to the right of the escalators - honestly shelves were packed. Mens upstairs near the entrance. Toys there too along with some Jamie Oliver stuff, some National Trust flask bits.

Enjoy spending. At least they have the trolleys in there so you can shop and drop.
