Boots after-Christmas sales - 75% off now over?

Attention Glasgow ladies!
Just back from city centre. St Enoch centre has NO stock and the lovely SA told me it had been transferred to other shops for tomorrow's 75% off sale.
Sauchiehall St was RAMMED with stock. Elle set, No7 Ultimate, Morgan perfume sets (2 types) Miss Sixty perfume sets, Sanctuary perfume sets and various other sanctuary, Fresh sets, Country Living teapot set (I'm planning on nabbing one of them tomo!) FCUK purse sets, LOADS of men's toiletries, Gok Hey Gorgeous (loads) 17 make up sets, Frontcover small set, R&M eye make up kit, I'm not sure exactly of what else, but the shelves were heaving and it was placed all over the shop. I wasn't going to go, but my willpower has let me down
If you're going to Glasvegas tomorrow, definitely head for Sauchie!! Buchanan Galleries has only a few shelves of the usual suspects, and as I said, St Enoch had nothing at all.

I have a multi-compartmental bag, that I always use for shopping. In the zippy bit, I keep my cash and cards, in the front bit I keep my Freedom Pass (!), and in the middle I have several envelopes, all marked appropiately (I know, I am Very Sad).

One has Snowies inside, one has 250 points vouchers, and one has vouchers from mailings or the ACM. Then I have another envelope with 2 for 1 foodie offers!!!

In the Good Ol' Days, when we used to have loads of vouchers from the ACM, I used to put them in a brag book, a little photo album about A5 size. PollsDolls told me about that, and it was great, and very easy to organise yourself at the checkout.

But you definitely need two free hands when you go a-sale-ing! If you can get hold of some spare ones, in the form of a DH or sturdy teenager, or even anyone you see on the street, who looks like they'd enjoy a rugby scrum - doesn't matter if you don't know them from Adam - then so much the better!

Hi There,

Im very much new to the whole boots bargain hunting/sale thing....I managed to use the voucher for the vitamins today though and got my lovely OH to queue for the S&G hatbox! Anyone know what the Wigan retail store stocks are like? Also if buying online what are the best items to go for? Also could you please let me know the codes as I cant seem to find the no 7 gift box on the website!

Thanks eklynne except now im tempted to try a wee trip to sauchiehall st as well as the others i had planned still cant decide whether to bother with Glas Fort. Did you notice if they had any of those Gok sets in the pink vanity case i dont know what there called and cant see any anywhere.

Popped in there on way home tonight - packed to the rafters with xmas stuff.

Womans stuff downstairs same place as pre-xmas
Everything you could think of in smelly stuff apart for S&G - shelves were stocked full. Tons & tons of it.
Even had Emma Bridgewater notebooks, doodlepads, address books
Upstairs mens tons of FCUK sets - rucksacks, blue sets, red sets, gift sets with pants (were £16), smaller sets with keyrings. Loads of them. Whole aisle of ted baker stuff. Lots of beer sets, archers, bucks fizz.
Tons of in the night garden toys, few dolls, some charlie & lola bits, playbmobile, mechanco sets.
Pity im working tomorrow but hoping to get there Thursday - staff told me they had cages of stuff to replenish shelves so should be stuff left then lol.

ah right. Does anyone have the no7 code please ill try and search for it. I am becoming a S&G addict. So only the items in the sale at the moment will be reducing is that correct?
