Please can someone tell me what the No7 ultimate collection is? I tried searching for it to see what the interest was all about but nothing came up....
Its the complete collection of No7 skin care with makeup as well. Was originally £60.00 but half price now but unfortunately can only be ordered on line if you have it in your favourites. Also still available in some stores.0 -

Its just not really the done thing and if you openly told a sales advisor thats what you wanted to return items to buy them back cheaper then they would be funny about it. I work in retail and I know when poeple have come in to do that in our store in the past (our sale used to go to bogof) we have been abit funny about it but not really much we could say but if you had gotten a SA on a bad day they would have probably refused. It all comes down to profit and in my company our bonus it based upon reach daily targets and making more than them and by refunding something then selling it back cheaper we are loosing money so decreasing the amount made that day thus reducing our bonus!
But as your boots manager has said you can do it then I would take advantage hehe But I dont think many other people at other stores will be able to get away with it, worth a try though hey? hehe Did he tell you this on the day you thought 75% sale was starting by any chance? Maybe said it to calm you all down and give you a compromise?
Yeah this was last week, I dont think this is the way to do it and I would never buy and then return (unless it was faulty)......what people didnt want to do last week was walk out and then they droped it to 75%, there were alot of unhappy people, lets hope we all get our bargains on Wednesday0 -
.com just canceled my s&g Mist and Match order. Didn't really need it, but drat anyway. Right now, there are only a couple minor things on the Web site I kinda sorta want, and those items were plentiful in store yesterday. Don't think I'll bother staying up later than normal tomorrow night.0

Me too!! For one of the two hatbox orders I placed. Fingers crossed I get the second email else I'm back to the dilemma of keeping or giving to sis for her birthday next week if I only get one. (is there a 'biting your fingernails' icon?!?!)From Money Spending Expert  to Money Saving Expert0 -

I'm confused ... I thought the point of your post was that you planned to buy something at 50% and return it to rebuy at 75% because the manager said you could???
BTW, I'm not jumping on you for doing that if you want to .... I think it's absolutely daft business policy and a manager who was encouraging customers to do that should be fired, but as the customer you're not in the wrong to do so if the manager says it's OK. I personally wouldn't ask for a refund and repurchase, but if I found items I'd just bought at 50% still on the shelves at 75% off, I would consider buying them and then returning the ones I'd already bought (though not sure I'll even bother to do that). But I'm not a fan of too much faffing about most of the time, lol.0 -

lol me neither haha, no I was replying to some one asking if they could do that, and I said that was what we were advised to do last week lol, I coundn't be botherd with all the agro of having to go back lol, me and loads of other ladies were disapointed at how we were spoken to last week, there was only one nice SA who was really helpfull the others were very rude to us0 -
I checked my wish list this morning on boots site. Elle Ultimate set (white/black big bag with goodies) and No 7 set are back in stock!
I have decided to get No 7 set for £30 anyway in case it's going to be sold out in Boots (Portsmouth) before 75% sale but I am not sure about Elle set (it's £20 now) though haven't seen it on shelves. Checked on ebay; someone is selling it for £20 plus £6.95 P&P0 -
Hi.
Does anyone know what stock is like in Welwyn Garden City. I have to go there on Wednesday. Thank you.0 -

A friend of mine tried to return a duplicate christmas gift to a Leicester store. She had the receipt showing full price but because gifts are now 50% off SA would only offer a 50% refund .0
