And all of his minions that are in cahoots
To give us some accurate news, without fail
Oh, when is the ac-tu-al date of The Sale?
From down in Lands End. to "och aye!" - John o' Groats
Each morning we finish our corn flakes, or oats,
Hoping the news will be coming our way
Hoping the sale will be starting today! :j
In previous years, The Sale has been great!
Three weeks after Christmas we usually wait
But this year you're pushing the boundaries more
The three weeks have passed - and it's now nearly 4!:o
The rumours are flying all over the place
We've all cleared our cupboards, with plenty of space!
Is it on Tuesday or Wednesday this week?
Could the Voice Of Authority finally speak!!
We've looked at your shelves that are, mostly, quite bare
The bargains we wanted are no longer there
Are they in stock rooms, and will shortly appear?
Or are they all sold, is our terrible fear!
So give us the news that we're desperate to know
Our buttocks are clenched, and we're ready to go!
We're faithful and patient, these shoppers won't fail
Please tell us the ac-tu-al date of The Sale!
xx

hiya, thanks for that. went today and found the foot soak, and detox gel stuff. must've sold out of the scrub. never mind.
Can't believe how much stuff is left in the gift sale. I went up on boxing day, and think there was more there today than there was then!:hello:No more toiletries challenge :T

is it possible to buy stuff now at 50% and then take it back when its 75% and return it and then buy it again?
do boots allow that?0 -

Its not technically "allowed" as a company would not want people to return items when the were cheaper to buy back at cheaper price as this means they are loosin money. However nor is it against the "rules" as you are entitled to a refund on an item within the stated time and should you choose to buy it again is your decision. You may find that a SA would refuse to do it though so maybe comin up with a little white lie for the reason you need to do it would be best! Saying that if they are still in stock just buy at 75% then return the 50% ones.
Is there any restrictions on what you can return gift wise? ie. can you return the toiletry ones?

Was asking niece who works in Boots part-time about the sale. Had to laugh when she said as far as we know Wednesday - but you know what Boots are like. Only time will tell.If I had known then what I know now . . .
