Same up our way. When we went in on boxing day we got told they had received more than 20 cages of stuff for the sale on xmas eve and she was just going to put it out slowly. She never knew what was in them but offered to take a note of anything we were hoping for. Still about a third of the stock to get put out as of last week.

Went into Nottingham Victoria Centre today and i was pleased to see fully stacked shelves.Obviously restocked because had slightly different items(more toys HSM, princess carraige,night garden stuff).
There was barely 2 people browsing in the isles of 50% off,im sure you don't need 3 guesses why?....... 75% off hopefuls!!!!!

probably only double that amount of people looking on Saturday. I wonder how many people read this thread and will be heading for the 75% sale (whenever they decde to do it) Tuesday, Wednesday or Saturday?

Theres nothing to worry about, if my experience last year is anything to go by at Vic centre. It was a pleasure, at 8.30am when I was there. Sure, there were a couple of women with trolleys, but there was also plenty browsing room for all the rest of us . I'll be there this year too.

I am confused...when does the sale start Tues or Wed?? I am off work wed oooo!! I know I will be going shopping and stocking up on birthday/christmas pressies!

Each morning we finish our corn flakes, or oats,
Hoping the news will be coming our way
Hoping the sale will be starting today! :j

In previous years, The Sale has been great!
Three weeks after Christmas we usually wait
But this year you're pushing the boundaries more
The three weeks have passed - and it's now nearly 4!:o

The rumours are flying all over the place
We've all cleared our cupboards, with plenty of space!
Is it on Tuesday or Wednesday this week?
Could the Voice Of Authority finally speak!!

We've looked at your shelves that are, mostly, quite bare
The bargains we wanted are no longer there :eek:
Are they in stock rooms, and will shortly appear?
Or are they all sold, is our terrible fear!

So give us the news that we're desperate to know
Our buttocks are clenched, and we're ready to go!
We're faithful and patient, these shoppers won't fail
Please tell us the ac-tu-al date of The Sale!

see you there then,i'll be the one with safety hat,elbow and knee pads on(with my fave high heels on obviously!)......all the correct equipment for this mission!........... plus OH credit cards.
