I have no problem with the snow - or the 14 hour delay, or the 2a.m. delivery - and I thank all the drivers for their sterling work under impossible conditions.
MY problem is with the management - or should I say mismanagement! My sister waited in for 14 hours & lost 8 hours of pay, becuase nobody bothered to call to give her even a rough idea of delivery time! She could have gone to work & had a nap - but no! Thanks to Asda not returning our calls, we had no idea when the delivery might be!
Why on earth did the store not assign one member of staff to call each block of customers & tell them their delivery would be at least ten hours late? How hard would that have been?!
A complete disaster & I will tell everyone I know about this - I will certainly never use Asda again!0 -
wouldnt count on asda contacting u ihad to ring em 5p/min line to be told everything delayed again after them cancelling from last nite!!!0
