...and another single Mum here who very much appreciates the bargains and tips in this forum that have helped make Xmas so much less of a struggle and to the posters on other parts of the forum who have helped with the other aspects of single parenting. The lonely nights worrying about how to parent solo as well as the financial side. I've found a real community here that have been a tremendous help. Thanks to all.

I know, as a single mumespecially, its soooo satisfying looking at your child/children on christmas day opening everything they want and knowing that you provided it, and managed to do it on your own. Its that feeling, that i will always be grateful to everyone on here for, cos my DS is going to be absolutely gobsmacked when he sees what 'santa' has brought for him xx
I Totally understand how you feel when you say how proud you are on Christmas morning. I'd see the pile of presents and think - I did it!!! I was a single parent for 10 years and every year I don't know how I managed it but my daughter never missed out on a single thing.
I feel proud now because she has learnt the value of money.
You are lovely to take the time to say thanks to everyone else. Your kids (when they know it was you and not Santa) will be extremely proud of you!!!I :heartpuls M.S.E.

What a lovely post. It's a perfect Christmas story (for me at least) and the fact that people are reacting in a human and heart-warming way rather than quoting forum rules left, right and centre just makes it all the more delightful.
As always, massive thanks to OPs from me, too. You've made a difficult few months all the easier.0
