Just wanted to say a massive THANK YOU!! to everyone on here who has posted deals, especially on the run up to Christmas.

I'm a single working mum to a 5 year old, who ALWAYS struggles to get the people I care about presents at this time of year, yet for the first time in a long time, I have been able to get some great presents at fab prices, and I know everyone will be extremtly pleased with their gifts (and a bank account that hasnt huge '-' sign in front of it!

Thank you so much to everyone (Claire, especially springs to mind!).

As I say, I know this isnt a grabbit, but I wanted this post on here as its the avid grabbit users that have helped me.

I wish you all a very merry Christmas, and a happy and prosperous and glitch filled New Year for you and your families xxxxx

I second everything you have said. I am a single mummy of 3 and this year has been particularly tough for me. I have been fortunate to not only find some fabulous deals here but also some wonderful friends.

This is a great board. I only found the grabbit board on Wednesday Evening and I've found so many bargains posted on this board since then that I'm totally amazed. My family will have a wonderful Christmas this year mostly paid for with cashback and deals I've found through the year and more recently grabbits from here.

I always start Christmas shopping in January, so next year (2010) I hope to have TOTALLY debt free Christmas with the help of all your Grabbits. So, I too, thank everyone and wish you all a prosperous new year!!!

I think it's a great idea to show the bargain bringers how they have made a difference to our lives.

I too have gotten some great bargains from reading this section, I've saved a small fortune and my family have ended up with much nicer gifts than if i'd have spent what i've spent through here on the high street - plus i'd have got cold and wet. My OH got made redundant in October (out of the blue with no real pay off) he's got another job now but we went 8 weeks with no wage coming in and this Christmas looked very bleak - until I started to read the grabbits...

I wrapped up the presents earlier today and I couldn't believe how nice (and expensive) everything looked. If only they knew :rotfl:

Can I add my thanks too, I discovered MSE only a couple of months ago and I've found so many bargains. Huge thanks to the guys who take the time to tell us about Grabbits...you're all stars:A. My family and friends will receive much nicer presents thanks to this forum.

Can only echo what has been said - this site has been invaluable to me in so many ways this year. First I successfully reclaimed a missold ppi policy on a loan kerching £5000!! Then found the local board for NI and made loads of friends who are fellow crafters like me and publicise upcoming fairs, then found this thread and have lovely m&s drink gifts and s&g gifts for all family and friends!! Just a one stop shop really - I love this place!! Thanks to all the posters and all the contributors who give such a lot, including a hell of a lot of laughs!! TA VERY MUCH:T:T:T:T:T:T:T

Thanks OP and thanks to everyone from me too. I was made redundant at the end of October yet I've bought the most impressive presents ever, all for half of what I'd normally have spent, thanks to doing lots of 'research' and checking in on tip offs on MSE and Grabbit.
