I've been following the thread, but didn't have anything more to add to the excellent advice you've had, but I just wanted to say 'Well done, you!':j0

Well done OP :beer::A:D0

Hi i'm another that has followed this story from the start and i just wanted to say congratulations (i think?!) and agree the warning is unnecessary. Bittersweet really...
Threads like this are one of the reasons i love this forum so much, because so many people were genuinely rooting for you throughout and those who helped with practical advice are brill. Even Anhilator contributed in his own way, as others have said he's a good devil's advocate, it's always good to have a different spin on a situation.0 -
well done, and let us know how you get on if you appeal, and also what happens to the SalesMouth0

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
Well Done OP, final warning sucks but if you're looking for another job anyway, who cares, and it sounds like your work is valued in your company so you probably will get a glowing reference.
So is going back to work conditional in that you drop your complaint against the Sales Manager? You say they want everyone to sit down and clear the air of bad blood, I can't see how this can be done if the Sales Manager is next to be investigated. Although I hope he bl00dy well is after what he's done to you.0 -
I've spend a few long night hours reading this thread over the last few weeks (insomnia is a killer) and glad you got through to the end and kept your job. Final written warning is very harsh but it's happened to me before now. If I were you I would keep looking for something else, they can now use just about any excuse to sack you.Nothing to see here, move along.0

As others have said I think the HR department have screwed up on this one and the "final warning" is a face saver for them.
Whether you are up to fighting it is another issue.
Well done for doing what you did and thank you for taking the time and effort to come back here and keep people posted.
All the best for the future.We all evolve - get on with it0 -
Agree, final written seems a bit excessive and is probably their way of justifying their own incorrect actions. Have been reading this, only posted occasionally as like most, didn't really have anything useful to add.
Just chalk it up to experience, go back to work, keep your head down and find a new job. Try to resist the urge to talk about it in work, in case anything gets misconstrued and they can use any excuse to turn that warning into a dismissal.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0
