I hate to re iterate this, but it seems as if your working relationships are not too good and this is coming home to roost now. You do need to see a solicitor.

I also agree you now need to see a specialist solicitor. It doesn't cost £15k-£20k for a solicitor to write a letter to a person who has defamed you suggesting they retract their statement. I'd now include the office girl in that, as well as the sales manager. She is basically making up all sorts of stuff about you and needs to be stopped. What is the disciplinary for? Does it concentrate on the drugs or the swearing?

Interesting procedure though - usually they write to you telling you to attend a meeting and show you the 'evidence' there and then and allow an adjournment for you to read them and respond to it one the meeting starts up again. The letter usually says what you are looking at if your are found 'guilty' of the accusations, and should detail the accusations.

Have you had a copy of your company disciplinary procedure?

This is funny as mate, (i know it doesn't seem like that to you) the reason being is they haven't got a leg to stand on, let em sack you, screw them in a tribunal a beaut on this. I'd get down a solicitors office in your town, forget your no win no fee ones, get a proper solicitor, consultation is free

Compo at a tribunal will be very little. Damages for libel are huge and the onus of proof is on the defendant.

Appears to be a broad brush of accusations with no real evidence.

You don't do drugs, there is no more than conjecture to suggest you do.
I would not dismiss you on the basis of what they have.
