Royal redelivery 7am-6pm?

This might be the wrong section

Ordered something on amazon, it came, didnt realise would be recorded delivery..packet small enough to fit but sent back to depot which is miles away. Arranged redelivery for today...and am still waiting

Checked out the website says can come upto 6pm...which I think is unlikely..would really like to get on and go out now..but...I have been waiting since wednesday to get this urgent item...

Hmm..anyone had experience with this service, I did a search but nothing specific as to timing.

...I think maybe its a no show... who knows where it is now lol

is it unlikely to appear in the 3-6pm bracket???

I had a parcel turn up from Amazon at 5.55pm before although this was a weekday but I really didn't think it would arrive by that time.
Had Royal Mail turn up this week with a parcel very late afternoon too.

Royal Mail are delivering right up til 9pm in some areas, they are in our area. Most are also delivering on sunday. Thankfully the callers office has been closed on sunday this year :j

Have had this problem myself. Why CANNOT THEY JUST TRY TO DELIVER IT AGAIN THE NEXT DAY or at least ring the door bell.
Why should we be expected to go to a sorting office miles away ?

Your not, you contact them to arrange redelivery. Surely its more sensible for you to tell them what day you will be in, than them keep trying to deliver each day.

seriously, you have no concept of the level of items RM deliver
as i have said we have packet deliveries going out for 13 hours 6 days a week
thats 5 drivers per postcode area.
plus all the walk posties doing the normal deliveries plus packets
so you want all of those brought out again the next day? what about the ones that are due for delivery that day?
if you think your delivery office is miles away now, wait till the 'super' delivery offices are brought in
  • I am so hoping it comes tonight
the normal postie came at noon...

I am daring to jump in the shower..lol...I will open the door in a towel if necessary!!
