Mobile.co.uk iphone cash back question

Hi

I just read on another post that if you order a phone through Mobiles.co.uk or E 2 save, you can't get down grade your tarrif after 9 months is this right? Does going through Quidco affect this?

Thanks

Any cashback deal you enter, regardless of retailer, you must not downgrade the tariff for duration of contract - otherwise you lose the cashback.
You can use quidco as normal but the above rule still applies (i.e. you lose cashback if you change tariff). You can up the tariff though :D I think.

I'd have thought that the Quidco would have been paid well before 9 months - and it's not any other kind of cashback on an iPhone unless mobiles.co.uk have money to burn.

Sorry got the wrong end of stick me - I agree with Kilty, the quidco would have been paid within 9 months. Quidco usually pay out within 3 months from my experience.

The cashback deals are another thing where you cannot downgrade the tariff.
  • That is a generalised and simplistic statement; you sometimes can and I have - with a cpw company and more than once. However, with the t&c of this dealer at present you cannot.

As for Quidco, your experience is again generalised; cashback from this merchant can take much longer than 3 months (in my repeated experiences) if paid at all!

Answer the question posed by the OP rather than spouting your normal hate campaign.

Boring, bitter and twisted perhaps, but true none the less . . . been there and done that and wont be back. Wish I had read MJ's boring posts before I got myself involved.

Methinks it's you who has the "hate campaign"; my post was accurate and did, yours did but was not. You are always keen to offer advice even when you don't fully know what you're talking about. I stick to the things I DO know about - through direct and substantial personal experience. I am quite certain that is far more useful to all posters who aren't here merely to appear to offer "helpful" and knowledgeable information.
