  • I've got a little blow heater on in the room with me rather than heating the whole house for 1 room. The warm air is making me feel very sleepy.

Def ill, I went to bed for a nap and woke up drenched in sweat. Phoned dad and he's told me not to risk going over, I think sometimes he forgets that I've been driving for 11 years, never had an accident, and can judge for myself when it's too risky to drive!

Snaggs, I've got one of those cupboards too, it really needs sorting out at some point...

    We're back - sorry you're feeling carp Ames :(
It's snowing a blizzard at the moment here.

Christmas event was pretty good at Bolling Hall! The kids made orange pomanders studded with cloves to hang on the tree, they made evergreen sprigs with holly, a fir tree branch, rosemary, bay and mistletoe and then they wrote Christmas letters using quills and ink and did proper wax seals on them, there were traditional mummers performing which I thought might be a bit 'hey nonny nonny' but they were really funny.
All in all a good Christmassy trip out for free!

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.
