Busy day for me...Ikea this morning for DD1's christmas pressie...she wants a wardrobe...then shopping for my christmas present..although it appears when your OH buys you an eternity ring he then leaves you!
then I have to have a little sleep cos I am going to see Avatar in 3d at the imax but not until 11.30 tonight....(I have got no chance!)Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford

Morning.
Freezing here but still no snow.
This morning I need to prioritise doing the candles for the service tomorrow night and then potter around trying to achieve stuff.
Hopefully DD2 will come and take stuff from my dining room and garage.
Then Strictly final tonight.
Post has come - nothing from Tesco. VAT refund of £9.90 though.0 -
I want to put some lights up outside but I might freeze in the process!0

More snow here overnight which has now frozen solid, just the right conditions for delivering the local Christmas cards in the crunchy snow although I do like to go around when its dark and all the houses are lit up.
Mum has signed up for a Boxing Day dip this year for charity  I am wondering what to wear to keep warm as I watch:rotfl:
Need to do food shop today and get last few bits and bobs, quite looking forward to buying some special goodies:DBut these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
Morning all,
Have the decorators in a week early, guess "they" didn't want to work over Christmas which is good, however it has put me in a right grumpy huffy short fuse stroppy mare mood not to mention the pain.
Today it should go, vets, post office and then home to tidy my room, dinner with friends (although if it snows I shan't go, don't want to be cold) (see what I mean about stroppy!)
have a good one every one
xxxxxxxxxxxxNevertheless she persisted.0 -

Hi, if you read this before you leave for ikea - they have an offer on from tomorrow where you buy a gift card and get another goft card 10% of the first free - might save you a few quid to go tomorrow.
I was just searching for vouchers etc and came across your post - hope this helps!0 -
We got snow! :snow_grin
Not a lot mind you but enough to lay and make everything look pretty.
Travel chaos in Kent this morning too with issues at the tunnel and in the port....which was great news as it meant my visitors can't get here :j
Now going to walk to the post office with DD2 and post the last of the cards whilst having a bit of a snowball fight no doubt."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -

I know I should be more upset that my one and only sister, her husband and her kids can't get here and that I've not seen them for over a year....but hey, I'm not
I've started on the biscuits already
