Good God.........OH has just asked me how do you stuff a chestnut?

Apparantly it says on the bag "Sweet chestnuts, ideal for roasting and stuffing":rotfl:

    He was deadly serious:eek::rotfl::rotfl:
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

. Feeling overwhelmed by Christmas preps as usual :o.

Me too. Getting a little freaked out by the mess and the sudden realisation that people might randomly visit and the house is a mess and I haven't wrapped anything or bought everything and the guinea pigs need cleaning out and the fish tanks look a mess and............well you get the picture!

However I am not helping by sitting here eating a bacon Sandwich, farming (!)Farm looks good, wonder if I can persuade people to visit me there!!

Just checked the weather forecasts and Skegness is going to be bad, and I've woken up with a sore throat and earache, so I can't go there. Shame. I'll still try and get to Scarborough though, it doesn't sound too bad between here and there, and if I don't stay too long it'll be ok.

Well wrap up warm and don't stay out for long Ames.

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

You should have given him instructions, that would have been so funny watching him try to work out which is the 'neck end' of a chestnut! :rotfl:

I meant to say this the other day Buffy, do you know when you use the letters GP's for guenea pigs well I cannot help thinking of GP's as in Doctor GP's so when you say things like.

GP's were really well behaved or that you have given the GP's a cuddle

I cannot help but imaging my Dr's Abbot and Mansour in the picture:rotfl:

    OK I know, I am mentally ill:rotfl:

    Hi Bufty!

Don't sweat it, they should be coming to visit YOU, not the house!

Christmas is not about providing the perfect meal in the perfect house looking beautiful and pristine while the relatives exchange approving smiles like a Debenhams advert.

It's about family and friends pausing their regular lives, coming together to celebrate in whichever form is relevant to them, enjoying what goes right and more importantly - having a laugh about what doesn't go right!
